Is there a super secret squirrel version of this update... or do the links in the first post that everyone else has used, just not work for you?

Maybe all the earlier pages have been deleted!!! :crying: Or, have you just not looked? Since you said you "NEED" this I figured that you'd have gone the extra mile to find it... but maybe not.

*fyi, yep, first post is still there *whew* and the links work for me* :p

So far so good... everything running smooth. Will give it a few days to see how battery life is and see if any issues crop up. I do wish we could have gotten some of cool things like Pin Apps, Guest Account and Predict battery life. And whats with none of the default wallpaper? I know they can be downloaded and they weren't nothing to jump up and down about... just kind of surprised they aren't there.

Had my first major issue and not sure if maybe it's related to the permissions or what. I used the same CF Auto Root that I used for KitKat, then put on the latest TWRP and everything seemed fine. I then installed an app called Hide App-Hide and SuperSU popped asking for permissions and I granted it, but App-Hide said I wasn't rooted and also noticed SuperSU was popping up a massage every 30 seconds or so saying it granted access to the App-Hide.

I rebooted the phone and then SuperSU updated and then ask to update binarys and said it failed and needed to reboot... and stuck at the yellow Sprint screen... removed battery after 10 minutes and again it just sat at that same screen for 15 minutes.

EDIT: Just tried a Factory Reset and still won't move past the Sprint screen... guess I have to try a reinstall.

I reinstalled 5.0 and all I did was root, updated apps in Play Store and then SuperSu wanted to update binary... so again I try and it fails and then reboots, only to be stuck AGAIN on the damn Sprint screen. I don't get it... getting frustrated because I don't know whats going wrong or where and I'm about ready to just reinstall KitKat and be done with this.

Gotta ask, what's the aboot qfuse counter in layman's terms? Thanks for the info!
I don't feel like typing a long explanation but in a nutshell it is a "flag" in the aboot file which allows for downgrading to previous firmware versions that share the same "flag" value. It prevents downgrading when that "flag" is upticked in new firmware versions.

Sorry but this has got to be the worst Android OS I ever laid hands on. After jumping through hoops to get everything functional... took me a couple hour nap, woke up and turned my phone on and app after app after app is crashing. Even tried a reset and still everything crashing and I didn't have anything but the OS installed. I'm rolling back to 4.4 tomorrow.

Did you try wiping everything including internal storage? You also could very well have a bad download. I have had zero issues and imo, this is by far the best update from Samsung/Sprint to date....well worth the wait.
