Hi, why don't you try to flash the firmware again but with Bin4ry's Flash Tool. I'm uploading the one i use, so follow the instruction for the Flash Tool:
1. Extract the content of the Flash Tool.rar into the root of "C:\". For example "C:\FlashTool". Its better if you create a new folder with a name without spaces.
2. Copy the files of the firmware you want to flash into the folder named "firmware" on the flash tool.
3. Run the MS-DOS file named "x10flash" and follow instructions.
4. Wait till it finishes and tell me if this helped you.

P.S.: I have posted the link for Bin4ry's Flash Tool

Do you have installed java software on your computer? If not download it form here http://www.java.com/es/download/.

And you can probably explain a little bit more your problem. Like, what are you exactly doing?

Thanks for the reply, i have now managed to flash my phone to 3 UK 1.6, reached the config screen and then connected it to PC companion and updated to 2.1
This is fine, but still the problem of phone reboots if you use for 10 minutes or so, open market and install something for sure reboots the phone and goes into a loop of restarts. It is quite useless now...!!!

Hi, well I'm going to try the firmware to see what is the problem. But if you have managed to update via PC companion, I think the problem wasn't the firmware. But you will have to give me until tomorrow to try the firmware. Or now that you have the three original firmware you could take it to any of their costumer service points http://www.three.co.uk/Help_Support/Repair_Centres#.

Try here http://ask3.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BI...e,varset_USERNAME=Mobile:mobileUser,proid=669 and you can either select -Returns and Repairs- or -Solve problems with our troubleshooter-

hey, cheers to the work you're doing, but i'm having a problem.
for your rogers (canada) firmware "kernel.sin" is missing. i tried patching it with the kernel.sin from a 2.1 global ROM, but no luck.

Hello and thanks, the reason why the "kernel.sin" file is missing, is because its the firmware of android 1.6, and those firmwares doesn't have that file. Just try to flash it as it is, and then connect it to PC companion or SEUS to update.
