I connect my OP5 to my car stereo via bluetooth. I have a Tasker task that changes my Android OS volume based on vehicle speed, and it works great when I play music from my phone (via PowerAmp.)
But when I stream music with Pandora, the system audio changes somehow. The OS audio has 30 steps, and only the first 5 do anything; from mute to max volume over the first 5 steps, then the remaining 25 steps do nothing, the volume does not change after the 5th step. I cannot really adjust the Tasker task to this, as Iwant to keep the volume in a certain range that is only roughly %30 of the total volume, which would only be about 2 steps of whatever is happening with Pandora.
I have tried clearing the app cache/reinstalling Pandora, re-pairing the radio, and changing the HD audio codec under the "Advanced" settings on the phone between AptX and ABC(the radio supports AptX,) as well as trying both the normal BT audio mode and the "pandora" mode on the radio.
What else can I try to figure this out? Is this a feature of AptX somehow?
