Hello, i am seeking advice to get to 4.3. I hae read this whole thread and others regarding removing knox. I am currently on 4.2 with dmc2 bootloader. Would i be able to use mobile odin to flash lastest trinidad and Tobago Mk2 rom and then apply wifi patch? And keep dmc2 bootloader. Or do i need to get to a more current dmg1 or mj5 bootloader and then flash a rom followed with wifi patch.
Another idea i was considering was repacking the mk2 rom without the bootloader and flashing that with the wifi patch. Any advice on the best way to get 4.3 firmware without knox?

Still few questions

Complete rewritten OP
Now
Post #1 is for How to root/deknox/debloat and more
post #2 Wifi patch
1. If we are on latest firmware MK4 with the bootloader, then is it possible to downgrade the same.
2. will this remove the knox security bit?
3. For downgrading to 4.1.2 should we flash the firmware using ODIN and then wipe complete data?

Regards

I dont want to downgrade but asking a small question.
I am on stock mk4 with knox. Installing this will remove knox and will I be able to root and flash roms without affecting knox counter? Or the knox counter is removed completely?

This tool can root and remove know related stuff from system (which gives lot pain using root required app)
It doesn't affect know counter on download mod nor revoke warranty.

Steps already mentioned in op.
Which step you need to elaborate more?

what i meant was do i need to flash the official rom first and wouldn't flashing the official rom install the bootloader (knox?) which might prevent downgrading?

do you have a link to a official rom with only bootloader and knox removed?

thanks for your patience.

Stock ROMs coms packed with bootloader, look in dev section if someone have posted such ROM. Usually you can find it as prerooted, deodexed, deknoxed but yet complete stock. I don't have idea if anyone have posted stock odexed odin flashable without bootloader, earlier I have posted few but now a days not working on Note2 development much.

Edit : yet there is a easiest way is root existing ROM and flash latest ROM using Mobile Odin. that won't flash bootloader, if you don't have wifi working just flash Fix from post #2 with PC Odin.

Would i be able to use this process with mobile odin if i coming from an older 4,1.2 bootloader, not the newer one that rewrites the efs folder? My bootloader is dmc2 and i dont know if it will be compatible or if it will matter for flashing 4.3 firmware.

Hi Dr ketan

My Note 2 has been updated to official firmware
Product code GT2N7100TADETL
PDA N7100XXUEMK9
CSC N7100OXXEMK4
Modem N7100XXUEMJ9

Is there a way to root it without tripping the Knox counter?? Or can I change the bootloader to a safe bootloader so it's safe to root without tripping Knox?? Any help is greatly appreciated
