To remove bootloader you need to delete three files as you have mentioned, but sometimes param.bin and Tz.img may not included. So remove available files.
To deKnox just look to My MultiTool script to deknox ROM and manually follow as per script.

Dr.Ketan, I have a question. I am currently on ARHD 20.1. Wi-Fi was working as I had earlier flashed "Wi-Fi patch for old BL". Then I had flashed MJ5 BL I think and it was showing "Warranty Bit 0" in download mode. But Wi-Fi was working. But as per suggestions on the thread, I flashed your MJ5 BL Patch and then Wi-Fi patch. Now "Warranty bit 0" is gone, Wi-Fi works but BL is DMG1!! And battery life seems to be poor. What could be the issue? Is the MJ5 BL patch really required. What happens if we stay with "Warranty bit 0". Sorry if the question is silly.

How to use This Tool

• Download Philz recovery (avoid latest v) from here and flash using Odin with PDA tab. Newbie can refer this image
• Download DrKetan Multitool adv V6 and copy to SD card
• Reboot to recovery (Home + Power + Vol up)
• Select Install zip from SD card and navigate to Multitool file you have copied as said above and flash

This will start Aroma and now follow wizard. Remember you have to select option which you needs, you can skip any option which you don't like.

After Root with this tool if you get FC SuperSU / Binary update fail, for that just update it from play store and it should work fine.

downgrading the bootloader

I was able to downgrade the bootloader after upgrading to 4.3.....
Just as simple as downloading the old stock firmware 4.1.2 from samfirmware, using PC Odin 3.07 I flashed the stock firmware
AND there was an option in the PC odin "Phone Bootloader update" I ticked the box beside that and flashed the firmware....
After that I was able to get back to my old bootloader without the "Warranty Bit: 1" !!
hope this can help anybody stuck in that problem like i was !!

Hey,

Just flashing my Note 2 with Omega ROM and wifi does not work. I get Odin 3.07 and flash the WifiFix, putting the file on PDA option. It flashes perfectly but wifi still not work... Do you know where can be the problem?

Downgrading Bootloader from MK4 to MJ5

Hi Dr Ketan,
I am on N7100XXUEMK4 bootloader.
When I try to downgrade to MJ5, i get "unsupported version" error on the phone, after which the phone boots only after re-flashing N7100XXUEMK4 bootloader.
I need to downgrade to MJ5 to try some of the latest ROMs like Xperia Z-ized 3.1
Please help.

IMHO it is not possible now. Maybe try download older stock ROM and tick phone bootloader update before starting flashing

Someone in the L900 thread posted to this thread for the wifi fix but I found another for the L900 I was able to get to work.

Can you provide a link to that other thread? I can't seem to find it...

hey guys i recently rooted my device , i saw the super user app and its rooted successfully ,,, im running android stock v4.1.2.........
the problem is that i can't get into recovery mod..............when i hit volume up + Home +power --> my phone starts showing samsung galaxy note II that goes up and down i don't know exactly how to describe what's going on.... then the phone just turns black screen...
i can still reboot my phone normally but its not booting in recovery

I also face this problem for a while.. then i found a solution... 1st flash ur phone with CF-AUTOROOT.. after rooting process over.... then flash ur recovery... now it will boot into philz touch .. then istall dr ketan multi tool... In Aroma installer.... dont select root device.(skip it because u already rooted with cf autoroot).... select Deknox.... and proceed ... now ur phone will be rooted.... (1st update super su with A Zip file using recovery.. then update it from playstore.. (direct playstore update didnt work for me )...

Yes u now have fully functional rooted device..

I think its better to flash a custom recovery once again in ur phone.

Please is there a way I can switch my 64g mmc as d default storage from d recovery. ....I saw something like default storage location n I could toggle it from 0 to media.... So does ft mean we can switch d mmc 2 become d default? ??

i rooted my device using safe root exploits....no knox problems now...

When you flash custom recovery to install custom ROM it will trigger KNOX
