Is there a prerooted flashable 4.3? I can't use Odin right now and want to go stock for some tests.
one small problem
my note2 un-detected on odin 3.09
is this because that version already have knox on it?
or i need something else?
i have try to update the samsung drivers to v1.5.43.0, but still not detected
i have attach the screen that on download mode

now it's work
i think this is because i already have old note2 that have registered with samsung driver
so when i connect new note2, the driver didn't recognized new device
what i do to fix this is uninstall samsung driver
than restart and install it again
and right after that, connect new note2
now i'll flash this tool and root
btw, have not try the old note2 to connect
luckily, that old one have already been rooted and have custom recovery on it

Knox can't disable device connection.
Just try disable firewall and Antivirus on pc
Don't use (if you are) any extension to connect and direct connect to pc with single cable.
Try different USB port preferred direct on motherboard (back side cpu)

hi doc, it something that is annoying me quite a bit my warrany is over and i am wondering should a go ahead and flash kk bootloader?

1. doc is recommending using the new kk bootloader if warranty is no issue
2. if the knox flag is on 1 (you call it knoxed) you can't use knox anymore, if you don't know if you'd like to do that google it and make your own decision. I don't need it.
I did not regret it, sure there might be some apps not working as well as on JB 4.3, but if you make a nandroid before upgrading to kitkat you can downgrade later if you want to, I already did it, because I'm waiting for Dr. Ketans extra goodies in his kk rom, then I will do a fresh install. I had so much trouble in the past by flashing one rom over another or by installing backups made on old roms, that I can't recommend installing an backup made on old rom to a new one if the app is really important to you, but that' s only my experience. Dr. Ketan recommended to me using Titanium Backup... so maybe I give it a short try and check all important Apps if they are working flawlessly... have to make up my mind, I guess. Some users wrote that they did not need to make a fresh install and it worked good for them. You have to make your own decision, but always make a backup!
Titanium is best, some of my backup still working since I made backup on gingerbread.

Great success and that too by just using odin.
Only proves that no matter what you do samsung. We have XDA.

From that bootloader file which is used to reset knox on note 3 can't we make one for n7100?
I guess since the xploit trick is ready we just need to make necessary and similar changes to our bootloader too and it should work. There are similarities too since both are exynos devices

I have upgraded to 4.4.2 and want to root the device...
What are the ways via which i can do it withour triggering KNOX?
