Yes stock rom have issue but deknoxing should solve it.

First Thank you for your wonderfull contribution for note2 community in XDA. I'm a new user to Note2, since I bought a new one last week after selling my Lg optimus G for this monster...
....I have experience in rooting, flashing, cwm, efs, nandroid backup.. all other things from last 4 years since I've been using android phones of various models, incluing sammy, sony, LG and some Indian brands...My query to you is, I have an s3, which was in 4.1.2 and without rooting it, I installed cwm and flashed various rom's(I"m a flashaholic)... Now, I want to use your ROM on note2, for that I dont' want to root, but to install CWM, which I can do using ODIN right?
Also, only root increases the binary counter or flashing cwm??? not sure.... also, after flashing cwm and taking nandroid backup, if I want to restore nandroid unrooted backup, will i still have a non rooted phone with warranty? or my warranty is gone untill I reset the counter???

If you flash custom recovery knox counter will trip and warranty will be void permananently.
Hi Doc... there is any way i can downgrade to 4.1.2 if i have knox triggered ?
You can downgrade with mobile Odin but knox can't be reset.

Hello doc I have one more doubt I had recently downgraded to 4.1.2 using odin but the 4.1.2 was cosuming too much battery means very fast battery drain as compared with the one which was og inbuilt....do u why is it so ?????

This thread is related to Wifi issue not wifi direct, both are different things. You may get better help from your ROM thread.
i have identical issue!!Yes i was wiped twice for be sure - but no luck,
then i went and flashed again with odin 3.09 on the fresh system, but still no luck.
Since then i tried to restore my original efs backup, without luck.
Tried disabling Wifi power save in service menu *#0011# - still no luck
Read about few user complaining about same issue, cause by undervolting,
but with dn3 as the devs sad it's not the case, because not undervolted.
I was using the dn3 kernel when lost networks, not yet agni. Only tried agni when i had the problem,
for possible solution. I think agni is for sure undervolted, but doesn't matter anymore i think.
Now waiting for 4.1.2 fw from sammobile to download, and try to flash that.
What do you think, is it possible to "downgrade" 4.4.2 to 4.1.2?
Wi-Fi before 4.3 are perfect, immediately after upgrade via OTA the wifi stopped working properly.. (the issue seem a power problem)
i'm excluding any hardware damage or problem, is impossible, after 1 hours (downloading with WIFI
and installing) without move it from the table.. wifi stopped to work properly.any try to flash old bootloader fail.. i'm disperate!!

The strange thing is why Thetering WIFI is perfect and have a good range???
I often use the thetering and it works perfectly as before the upgrade

You have warranty bit 1 that suggest your bootloader is new so you can't flash old bootloader.
Simply try flashing new bootloader. If that doesn't work flash latest stock ROM and wipe data.

i tried MJ5 but it's fail with ODIN 3.09 (sboot.img error)
I'm sure is a problem of upgrading procedure when i have installed 4.3..
I'm flashed latest XXUFNG4 Phantom ROM 4.4.2 with clockwork .zip file
U suggest to try to flash OFFICIAL 4.4.2 with ODIN on top of this??
I tried to flash some days ago, the official XXUFNG3 with ODIN but nothing is changed, Wi-Fi simply don't work properly, it have range issue (OUT OF INTERVAL)
Try again it. Flash that NG3 stock ROM using Odin and immediately after this don't reboot device normally but manually reboot to recovery and wipe data (factory reset) with stock recovery. Note that this will erase data on IntSD too so make backup first.
If that doesn't solve your issue then likely it should be hardware issue.
