Today
After flashing philz recovery. Rooted via doc multi tool. Flashed cm 10.2 Nighties n after fee hours tried restoring nandroid but got stock in bootloops at Samsung logo ,tried factory reset and again restoring but no luck.

So finally updating through kies again
Any suggestion will be appreciated

I tried it...but seemingly there is no change. Wifi is still inaccessible. Is there any info that I could send that might help you to address the issue?

I was on old bootloader using 4.1.2 Alliance rom, flashed Phoenix latest rom (just to try the wi-fi patch with it) then flashed the flashable wi-fi patch you provided. The result is still no wi-fi.
Back to my old rom for now.

Still you can use wifi patch from OP and flash using Odin. this is just flashable zip testing.

Hi Doc, I am using Chinese Note 2. I am currently using leaked 4.3 JSS15J.N7100XXUEMI6, pre rooted ROM released by you.
I have working wifi in this ROM.
Since this is Chinese Note 2, I always flash any TAR file with mobile odin only. (Not PC Odin)

Now I would like to upgrade to ROM_INU-N7100XXUEMK4-20131119175336.
But When I flash this ROM thru Mobile Odin & flash your Wifi patch thru PC Odin, I am not able to access WiFi.

Can you propose a suitable solution. Thanks

I have working wifi in this ROM.

Okay Its done now
1. Flashed latest rom through mobile odin - No bootloader flashed = no WIFI
2. Flashed this wifi patch through PC odin

WIFI is back! yay.

I flashed the latest 4.3 which was released and now I am stuck. Any luck flashing an old bootloader to get back to 4.1.2 OR a way to root without that idiotic KNOX security denying my root access. This stupid feature that Samsung introduced has totally put me off. I was planning to go for a note 3 but not anymore. I tried this http://www.theandroidsoul.com/root-galaxy-note-2-on-android-4-3-firmware-and-removes-knox-too/ but not working.

Any help is appreciated to either root or get back to 4.1.2.
