Bootloader 2 - If you are on a Bootloader 2 firmware you can NOT go back to a Bootloader 1 firmware, there is NO workaround. See Post 1 to determine which bootloader you're on13/OneUI 5.0 BETA -You MUST be on S908U1UEU2AVF7 in order to update to this beta. This is BL 2 so you can go back to stock, but if you do it's HIGHLY recommended to not dirty flash (It might not let you so be prepared to wipe)BETA1>BETA2 - S908U1UEU2ZVHK Thanks for the file @Venom0642You MUST be on S908U1UEU2ZVH4 in order to update to Beta 2 (ZVHK)Bootloader 1S908U1UEU1AVA6 - Thanks to 66880]@southern87 for the MIRROROdin3_v3.13.3b Patched: HEREOdin3_v3.14.4 Patched: HERE

Just got CWE6 for AT&T locked firmware.Yeah just got CWE1 on locked AT&T S22U.
It's funny because I just hit "Software Update" and it started downloading, which is weird because I usually have to set the date to 2054 or something like that lol.View attachment 5916881
I refuse to update my S22. I'm just waiting til someone comes along and finishes BadSpin on it or adds on to it...so we can get full root. Kernel r/w is still good. But we need a little bit more. Lol. Oh and the S23.....I'll be dead if that goes anything higher than April firmware.
I currently have the option of getting the 8gb RAM/ 256 version for $200 less hence my question...I think if you buy directly from Samsung right now, they will give you thr memory upgrade for free like when the phone was introduced. (IE 256GB price for 512GB model. $180 freebie)
I see it like this as far as root. I have a rooted Note 9..S20+..Note10+...Note 20ultra..S10+...what have I done after root? Absolutely nothing....but flex and say yep they are rooted.I refuse to update my S22. I'm just waiting til someone comes along and finishes BadSpin on it or adds on to it...so we can get full root. You just haven't found the right thing to occupy your mind in. The chase is always 100 percent fun. But what's 1000 percent better is breaking up what Samsung calls security and protection. Minus the encryption stuff. You would be surprised how much you can see in plain sight and literally PLAIN SIGHT. The best place to look is /etc. If you ASKS me, it's hilarious.I see it like this as far as root. I have a rooted Note 9..S20+..Note10+...Note 20ultra..S10+...what have I done after root? No, locked AT&T actually.
Very strange. I used the dialer code trick to pull it this time, and have for the last several updates with no issues. I've also done the whole date change thing before to pull an update, and once I've gotten it and changed the date back all has been fine. Sucks that something as simple as that could hammer your phone. Hope you get it resolved as painlessly as possible.I'm guessing it has to do with me changing the date to Dec. 1st to force the update. Guess I have no choice but to Odin.
There's VERY little chance you'll brick (The only way that I know you can is pulling the USB cable when flashing), that aside, it'll just error before the flash could happen. How do i know which firmware to download? Im a complete beginner... i have an att locked (making payments) 22 ultra sm-s908U. I was told to get the u1 firmware because its unlocked and i can use rcs thru jibe not att, but i also was told i need to get the firmware that matches the model number which is U. I may be overthinking, but it's confusing. And all the U options are labeled by carrier, there doesn't seem to be an unlocked firmware for my U phone. And if i were to get an U1 firmware, there are a few options with no explanation on the differences and which to get. Don't get me started on the advice to look for XAA firmware, because i don't see that anywhere lol. Apologies if this seems ridiculous, i just don't want to brick my phone
