Uploading it now, I'll have it posted in #3 shortly
i did and nothing :'(Unfortunately the only thing I can think of left would be a factory reset
What firmware is your device on right now?
Thanks!
How to wipe Data, clear cache in DL mode ? Is in Odin with Nad erase + Re partition or ... ? ThanksWhat firmware is your device on right now?
Edit:
I would go into DL mode and wipe Data, clear cache, then download the most current firmware (Either U or U1) and flash your device. Use the Odin that's posted in #2 or #3 and flash:
BL
AP
CP
CSC (NOT the HOME_CSC if its available)
DO NOT Re-Partition,How to wipe Data, clear cache in DL mode ? Is in Odin with Nad erase + Re partition or ... ? Thanks
Leave EVERYTHING as default on Odin, then flash the latest firmware by selecting everything: AP, BL, CSC (standard CSC not Home one) and USERADATA. In this way you'll clean flash the firmware and your device will reboot complitely resettedHow to wipe Data, clear cache in DL mode ? Is in Odin with Nad erase + Re partition or ... ? Thanks
I haven't gotten it either on unlocked AT&T U
I've flashed U1 firmwares on Snapdragon devices from other countries using a patched Odin. That's how I've turned the Canadian model into the American for example. I just got the Korean S22 Ultra (S908N) and I'm wondering if I can flash the U1 firmware onto it with this patched Odin. I'm already downloading the U1 firmware so wish me luck!Regarding the AT&T CSC, I don't have access to one "specific" for AT&T. They don't release their firmware.
Using a UnPatched Odin won't brick (That's actually pretty hard to do now-a-days) You'll likely just get a failure to flash.
And you're spot on, you can not flash the U1 firmware on a non-U or U1 device
Let's us know if it worked.I've flashed U1 firmwares on Snapdragon devices from other countries using a patched Odin. That's how I've turned the Canadian model into the American for example. Not likely, the firmware is "designed" for the U/U1 versions and it'll error when it sees a 908N
That's what Patched Odin is for, to ignore that mismatch in models. Not likely, the firmware is "designed" for the U/U1 versions and it'll error when it sees a 908N
Are you on TMO firmware? That update (AVE4) is broken as far as that goes. I got it to work momentarily by removing the SIM Card and playing around with it, but ultimately it went back to "verifying". I downgraded back to AVDC (U1) then the AVE4 dropped for U1. Been fine since reverting back to U1 firmware.Anyone have any luck getting Google Messages past verifying yet?
Yeah, been trying some stuff with no real results. It's not killing me to not have RCS, but was checking in case someone found a work around. Are you on TMO firmware? Unfortunately no work around. Broken in the update.Yeah, been trying some stuff with no real results. It's not killing me to not have RCS, but was checking in case someone found a work around.
On the U1 firmware does your sim card have the listing for calls and messages as active? I was having a thought yesterday.
Go to playstore install Samsung Band selection now follow my pictures.I got this latest U firmware installed but I still don't have access to the Band selector .... Did you do anything special to access the settings?
Yes stop it ✋️ lolThe firmware will provision to your sim......oops Kangi and Joancolemanares already pointed this out.

I would never support locking the thread, it's how everyone learns and has some fun tooI sense trolling lol. All needed info has been posted on this thread except new releases. People get too emotional over technicalities. Recommended thread lock except new releases.
There's VERY little chance you'll brick (The only way that I know you can is pulling the USB cable when flashing), that aside, it'll just error before the flash could happen. How do i know which firmware to download? Im a complete beginner... i have an att locked (making payments) 22 ultra sm-s908U. I was told to get the u1 firmware because its unlocked and i can use rcs thru jibe not att, but i also was told i need to get the firmware that matches the model number which is U. I may be overthinking, but it's confusing. And all the U options are labeled by carrier, there doesn't seem to be an unlocked firmware for my U phone. And if i were to get an U1 firmware, there are a few options with no explanation on the differences and which to get. Don't get me started on the advice to look for XAA firmware, because i don't see that anywhere lol. Apologies if this seems ridiculous, i just don't want to brick my phone
