Where would that be located? Under SIM card it's just a "button" that's on. Doesn't say anything about calls or messages. On the U1 firmware does your sim card have the listing for calls and messages as active? I was having a thought yesterday.

Yeah, that's how it looks here too. Was wondering if those needed to be appearing below like it used to or something. Probably something forgotten in the modem settings in the firmware.Where would that be located? Under SIM card it's just a "button" that's on. Doesn't say anything about calls or messages.
on U1 AVE4, chat features shows connected with TMobile eSim. So seems to be an issues with only Carrier based firmware. Are you on TMO firmware? That update (AVE4) is broken as far as that goes. I got it to work momentarily by removing the SIM Card and playing around with it, but ultimately it went back to "verifying". I downgraded back to AVDC (U1) then the AVE4 dropped for U1. Been fine since reverting back to U1 firmware.
U1 firmware uses Jibe for the chat features, the carrier versions don't. I don't remember which one the carries use, but it sounds broken for nowon U1 AVE4, chat features shows connected with TMobile eSim. So seems to be an issues with only Carrier based firmware.
Did this on + with dirty flash..all went well ota kicked in as soon as it booted..wifi calling there but not advanced messages. Thanks. This is basically my first Unlocked Firmware i flashed on my Second AT&T S22 Ultra 5G so far so good i dirty flashed no data wipe from U- S908USQU2AVE4 to U1- S908U1UEU2AVE4 So far so good no issues at all.
You using the Samsung app or Google?Did this on + with dirty flash..all went well ota kicked in as soon as it booted..wifi calling there but not advanced messages. Thanks.
I'm assuming he's talking about Samsung Messages, Since on unlocked Firmware for AT&T you don't get Advanced Messages
literally having to request the QR code or provisioning email on each wipe you want to do lol unless you do regular update and it doesn't affect the data,
So running stock it wouldn't be much of a hassle?literally having to request the QR code or provisioning email on each wipe you want to do lol unless you do regular update and it doesn't affect the data,
I guess dirty flashing will not affect ESIM, but full device wipe (clean flash) will surely remove the esim provisioning. (I had that on my first flash)
Samsung. Don't like Google Messages..lol
I would never support locking the thread, it's how everyone learns and has some fun tooI sense trolling lol. All needed info has been posted on this thread except new releases. People get too emotional over technicalities. Recommended thread lock except new releases.
There's VERY little chance you'll brick (The only way that I know you can is pulling the USB cable when flashing), that aside, it'll just error before the flash could happen. How do i know which firmware to download? Im a complete beginner... i have an att locked (making payments) 22 ultra sm-s908U. I was told to get the u1 firmware because its unlocked and i can use rcs thru jibe not att, but i also was told i need to get the firmware that matches the model number which is U. I may be overthinking, but it's confusing. And all the U options are labeled by carrier, there doesn't seem to be an unlocked firmware for my U phone. And if i were to get an U1 firmware, there are a few options with no explanation on the differences and which to get. Don't get me started on the advice to look for XAA firmware, because i don't see that anywhere lol. Apologies if this seems ridiculous, i just don't want to brick my phone
