Still no luck with adb.

UPDATE: So, since I couldn't get it to work, I just smashed it on a rock, took it back to the store and got a new one...

Stores where you are allow you to return broken products? How does that work exactly? o_O

(unless you had some kind of insurance protection against any sort of damage?)

Bricked :(

I ended up bricking mine trying to install init.d support. I really need access to the proper region zip update to unbrick my device. The version number luckily is 1 in build.prop, before it got bricked, so I could proceed with a flash if I had the zip. My backup zip is gone and I can't access the internal memory where a backup was also copied to :(. Here's information about my device:

ro.build.description=nbx03_001-user 3.2.1 THMAS0042 0042.001

I would be so grateful if someone with the same region can provide me with a zip, preferably the newest one rooted. Thanks!

P.S. It must be a signed zip

The value '1' in build.prop didn't brick a device. Tio create a update zip for you, more information of your device are needed. What version is it? (16GB, WiFi only, 3G, 32 GB??)

Best should be to take a look on the backside of your tablet.
There is a exact version number like : SGPT111US/S (e.g. 16GB / WiFi)

signed-nbx03_001-ota-11000.001.zip (3.2) is kernel build 10.

Does anyone know what kernel build the following updates are?
signed-nbx03_001-ota-incremental-0035.001-from11000.001.zip (3.2->3.2.1 incremental)
signed-nbx03_001-ota-0035.001.zip (3.2.1)
signed-nbx03_001-ota-0042.001.zip (3.2.1)

Does anyone have an official 0035 or 0042 update with a rootable kernel build?

Do you think we can downgrade by flashing a older zip?
It's possible that a downgrading exploit will be discovered, but flashing a lower version right now requires modifying ro.sony.build.incremental, for which you need root.

By the way, build version 0035 is 3.2.1, not 3.2 as the original post indicates (Sony/nbx03_001/nbx03:3.2.1/THMASU0035/0035.001:user/release-keys). The same goes for 0033.

Anyone got 3.2.1 Release 2? I bricked mine while trying to add init.d support and custom recovery (so we can have CWM). Thought the one I downloaded here, signed-nbx03_010-ota-0042.004, was the right one, but I am wrong. I did try all of the updates for 3.2.1r2, but keeping getting this error:
Code:
E:Prohibit update as a result of checking version or base sku
Installation aborted
The first time recovery gets this error, I will return that same error for the entire session. You have to reboot the device for it to re-check incremental.

does downgrading break wifi? I have root and im looking to flash the orginal firmware or 3.2 or 3.2.1 I know you have to modify build.prop incremental and vendor.prop incremental and then replace the update.zip when you download the update.
