Should I use XT1541 (2GB Retail EU OTA) by @Osid? It doesn't mention retfr anywhere so I'm too scared to flash it.

In theory, you can't use this OTA because fingerprint and, probably, some sha1 hashes of files doesn't match.

Keep in mind that OTA, before changing files, verifies every file to be modified. If source system doesn't match the OTA process aborts WITHOUT changing system partition and/or files, so, it's safe to apply an OTA on a wrong system.

I tried to root my Moto G after 6.0 update but it won't start and I can't flash gpt.bin, it says <bootloader> Preflash validation failed
What should I do ??

EDIT : I resolved the issue, but when I start my phone, bootloader is displaying and I need to click on START, how can I change that ?

No, you cannot install OTAs if ANYTHING has been modified. You have to reflash everything to stock using this guide. Having an unlocked bootloader is fine though.

He can also revert file modified to previous version.
I've done this on my rooted and Xposed Lollipop Moto G.

For SuperSU is sufficient to uninstall root through SuperSu app or, if you are able to read scripts, delete/rename files pertaining to SuperSU and restore original files still on /system partition.

Could you try flashing the appropriate 5.1.1 image and check for an update? Maybe you will receive it then.

True, but it is usually easier to just flash an image ;)

In fastboot, type 'fastboot oem fb_mode_clear'

Hi everyone, here is the thread for all captured OTA update files for the Motorola Moto G3.

After seeing @hp420's thread being overloaded with off-topic posts and its subsequent closure, I have decided to close this thread to all replies, as the intended purpose is to share links only. If you are looking for the discussion on the Marshmallow update, then go to this thread: [DISCUSSION] Android 6 Marshmallow Update

DO NOT FLASH AN OTA THAT IS NOT FOR YOUR SKU

If anybody captures an OTA, please PM me with the following:

    Code:
    Link:
    SKU Number: XT15xx
    RAM Size: 1GB or 2GB?

If you are uploading an OTA, do not use Dropbox as they will eventually remove the link. Google Drive, Android File Host and Mega.nz are preferred

Thanks to @hp420 for the original OTA link thread
