You download it when the system updater asks for it. Don't install it yet, just look on internal storage in ".ota". I usually connect over USB the phone and use MTP to copy the file (be sure to show hidden files on your system, the internal OPPO file browser won't show you these).

The last update is named "F1fEX_11_170908". You can download the patch from 899 to 900 here: F1EX_11_OTA_899-900_patch_201709081107_411d36cd.zip on MEGA

899 is the previous patch level from july (20170708)

The good news: security updates are in and the BlueBorne vulnerability is patched.

So you must be not rooted to capture your ota? Is this link already moddified updater script so it can be flash to twrp or flash to stock recovery? If need stock recovery i must try to install it using flashfire so i can avoid loosing root

New update is there: F1fEX_11_171125
Updated kernel version: 3.10.28-G201711251117

Official changelog:
  1. Security updates
  2. Enhancements and bug fixes

What's in from a brief ZIP digging and tests:
  • Udated recovery
  • Udated system apps (lot of little patches)
  • Not vulnerable anymore to BlueBorne

F1EX_11_OTA_900-901_patch_201711251117_73bce114.zip (41.6 MB on Mega)

Not bad to have an update for a device introduced almost 2 years ago and out of shops in Europe since 18 months.

Hey guys, ever since i got this update on my f1f, this issue comes. Couldn't play videos via app (Instagram, Youtube etc). But this doesn't happen when I open via browser. Tried to clear cache on app, didn't solve the problems.
Do I really need to factory reset, just for this issue? Or wait for another update?

Thanks before,

    You can, I did it.

    The simplest method:
    - copy ColorOS & Project Spectrum zips provided by OPPO
    - boot in fastboot mode
    - Install stock recovery with fastboot
    - Reboot to recovery
    - Install Project Spectrum
    - Reboot to recovery
    - Install ColorOS

    You should be stock, relocked.

You can extract recovery.img from the ColorOS zip.

A new official ColorOS udpate from OPPO is available in my region and at least all Europe I guess.

This is version F1fEX_11_170327. A copy of the OTA update package is here if anyone needs it: F1EX_11_OTA_896-897_patch_201703271119_3cf702307f.zip on MEGA (56.0 MB).

This is still Android 5.1.1 with a 3.10.28 kernel. No Marshmallow :(

I'm a bit amazed by the continuous support from OPPO, and especially the security patches integrated in those updates. I was not expecting this from this brand. This is part of what's preventing me from completely switching to LineageOS. This is my only smartphone and I need it to just work.
