I just got the message that a software update was available for 4.5.145. It mentions that the update improves GPS accuracy.

I dont know if it will remove root but the soak didn't perma-lock my bootloader so you can easily re-root and start flashing.same here, If I update, would it remove my Root access? any ideas!!!
this is the update we were talking about in the Soak Test, relax, its just a GB Update with a radio update to fix GPS stuff.Read the last few pages of the soak test thread. It's nothing special.

I used voodoo ota root keeper app and was able to reapply the root right after the update. My phone is fully stock except for the root.same here, If I update, would it remove my Root access? any ideas!!!
Is the new radio worthwhile?this is the update we were talking about in the Soak Test, relax, its just a GB Update with a radio update to fix GPS stuff.
out of curiosity are you having this issue?I installed the OTA update about a week ago and since then the Motorola task manager has been notifying me of high memory usage. Just running a couple apps at once will show 80% memory used. It doesn't seem like things run slower, but I've never had this problem before. I'm running stock and I haven't installed anything new for weeks.
Anyone else having similar issues?
I currently have an unanswered ticket with Motorola on the issue, maybe they can be of some help. If I get a GOOD answer, instead of replace the phone, I will share it.Yes. I meant CPU usage, not memory. Still having issues and I've found no fix for it.
