Guys,

Just to confirm, I just got a OTA update on my D855. Seems snapier now and less laggy. Was on V10B and not V10E...let's see how the phone behaves on the next few days.

Regards,
Mingo

I can't install the OTA, it says it wouldn't install on a rooted device.

Tried installing SuperSU and did a full unroot but didn't work, I'm still rooted I think.

Just got the update on my 16gb 855 in the UK. Can't see any difference yet.
Hoped it would solve the pocket turn on issue but it hasn't.?
My update was only 43mb. Weird the size difference.

Since this morning, the GRC G3s (16GB and 32GB versions) are getting the v10e update. About 43MB in size, unbranded devices (if it means anything to anyone....). Update is titled "Battery Optimizations", with no visible changes anywhere in the UI. Personally I haven't had any of the reported problems, so I can't say anything about whether this resolves any of them...

downloading..... should be ready in 10mins...

Download LG Flashtool 2014 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190

Plug the phone into your computer (make sure it's not locked)
Select the KDZ (don't touch any other settings)
Click Normal if you don't want to wipe or CSE if you want to wipe

When you get a prompt for language select other country and english as the language
Wait for the phone to reboot

You may get a prompt to say it could not talk to the server just click ok on this

Phone should then say flashing with COM3 or equivalent.

You can never truly believe people who say something is less laggy soon after taking an OTA - it will clear the cache and reboot your phone, it is bound to feel less laggy...for a few minutes.

Could you post the url for downloading the full kdz?

I cant seem to generate a link atm - server isn't responding.
Meanwhile the OTA downloaded and installed on my phone - and it hasn't broken root:laugh::laugh:
