[OTA Updates] S7 Active SM-G891A (MM & N firmware update files)

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but is it possible to go back to Marshmallow from Nougat? Thanks.
Follow the steps in Post Number 157 in this thread (here's the link)

...that will bring you back to a clean Marshmallow PI2 then you'll have to go back to post number 1 and work your way back up to PL1 (just do v4. and v5.) which was the last version of Marshmallow for this phone before Nougat I believe.

Now... do you guys see any major differences with bqc4 over bqc2 or should I just wait for AT&T?
Not sure if I'm the only one, but My Knox seems to have stopped working with most apps, all of which had worked just fine previously. They now only manage to reach the splashscreen, or at most the EULA confirmation page if that is applicable (in my case, with the MeinVodafone app). I'm on the latest build. Tried reinstalling everything, both the apps and the workspace (which involves creating a new user etc.) but the problem persists. Apps that are still working are those "primitive" apps like ZArchiver that do not require many permissions. Again I did not wipe data, so that could be a possible factor of interference, though all normal apps work very well.

Noob question:

My S7 Active is on T-Mobile, so I can't run system update. I want to update to Nougat 7.0. I'm currently on QA1, so I plan to run "G891AUCS2AQA1 to G891AUCU2BQB2" (1.47GB). I also plan to use recovery to run "Apply update from SD card."

Simple question: Will this wipe my apps & contacts or will it mimic a system upgrade and preserve all my data?

Thanks!

Everything will be wiped
However, if you want to keep your stuff use any at&t sim card to update through OTA and keep your apps and settings.
Personally, I prefer marshmallow on nougat way more. I had nougat before then I downgraded to MM again and its much better.

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like getting an at&t sim is the way to go. However, you're not the first say MM is better. I may just keep that. Thanks again.
