How to do ADB Sideload? Does any one have any guide or just the main guidelines

Please take a look at this thread, I created it for the S7 Edge users. Try option 2, as option 1 doesn't work for you.

As usual OTA updates should be applied via stock recovery (through adb sideload best)

*Don't worry "Network" unlocked/ unlocked status remain same after updates.

Thanks very much I successfully updated my phone from PH1 to PL4 but with an ad card not ADB sideload

The PL4 was beta or offficial one from AT&T? I made a quick search but the was less information about PL4.

I've done research as well... what I've come up with is that Nougat which is the pl4 isn't supposed to be available for the phone anytime soon. So I just updated to the one which is actually available with OTA updates... which is the pl1

I updated mine with PL4 then only realize is not official on AT&T website. It supposed to be Beta?
But so far i never encounter any problem with nougat (PL4).. :fingers-crossed:

PL4 update is up and running. Used the SD card install method and it went perfectly the first time. Thanks OP for the files and everyone here for the direction. Hopefully this rom is stable.

Never mind, I figured it out. Odined the PI2 firmware from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-active/help/samsung-galaxy-s7-active-root-t3473649, then installed the PI2 to PL4 Update from the same place via install update from zip in recovery.

Good deal... glad you got it! I didn't know what to answer as I am with AT&T and already had PL1 from them when I did the PL4 update here. Have fun with it - it's pretty cool.

Yeah, I'm on TMO. Been stuck with PE7 FOREVER! Pretty stoked now. Huge difference!

I think if you flash PI2 Firmware with the modified Odin you could rollback... am I wrong?

Yes its easy just flash stoxk pi2 with odin. Its not iphone Dude
