First sign of Oreo on AT&T servers:

It's 1.4 GB, updates the android version of the baseband (2BR to 2CR) and is a U. probably beta, but it's coming...

S2BRC1 is also up, and that's the likely OTA update. I'm guessing that after a month or two of trials the Oreo will move out of beta so we'll probably see parallel update and security patch releases for a while. Just guesses.

I so want to flash this but am afraid I'll get stuck in a beta dead end and have to revert again.

Very smooth. Cool animations. Battery life seems better. A lot of notification settings to get used to.

I am worried about battery life on Nougat. On 6 I had about 5 hours SOT, on Nougat I have max 4 hours SOT. Hope on Oreo I will have better experience.

I'm still getting that plus some. I wouldnt count on battery life being better. 8.0 doesnt do the battery any help. My last device is on 8.1 and the battery is worse then any before it.

Latest Full Firmware for Nougat?

Hey guys!
I was browsing through that download section from the russian OTA updates / firmware website:
I noticed there was a full G891AUCS2BRA7 Nougat Firmware, which is one of the latest full firmware ones before the most recent OTA update RB5 .

Also, there is a new version of the Beta Oreo OTA update RC8. I will attempt to upgrade to and see how it works out. I will keep you all posted.

*** Update: I successfully flashed the complete Nougat firmware BRA7 with no issues.

RC8 so far has 2 bugs

- notification sounds repeat themselves until you clear them

- led notification light has been disabled and the toggle for it is not present. The toggle is normally located in the settings->display

*Disabled to the point where the charging light does not turn on

The purpose of these updates is for people outside of att or united states are able to update to the current patches and os, so I would say yes.

I'm Canadian and so far this latest nougat full build is stable and working for me. Worst case, follow the first stable release upgrade path.

If you want to be sure that you can keep installing future official updates on top of it, then yes you should wait. Those that are currently uploaded could be test versions that will not follow the official upgrade path.

Thank you for that update, I really appreciate it. I would LOVE to flash this right now (7.0 beta was waaay faster than final versions for me!) but that is an unacceptable bug for me. Would drive me nuts.

Flashed by Odin yesterday. For now the only things that give me issue it's Knox and relative services: Samsung pay, health and others connected. Check the screenshot below. Any advice to resolve this? The phone is not rooted.

It's because your phone is rooted. Mine wasn't so I never got that error.
