I've been using CRE7 for a while now and don't see too many drawbacks, if any. There are lots of minor changes for the good, battery life is about the same or maybe slightly better. The only major issue I have been having is with roaming from Canada to the US. My phone hasn't been able to register on any US networks but this may not be an issue with the firmware so much as my phone. I'll be able to test it again this weekend and see if the official release has improved anything.

I'll start looking for the next security update. Our phone's may be rolling into quarterly updates now as they are two years old. But, if it's monthly, the next update is due any time now.

Maybe few things, but battery life is better like nougat, better notifications, better signal reception.

Bloatware and camera complete view s*cks because replace HDR button
Same feeling: battery life is better, especially when not using the phone.

I also noticed a better signal. Sounds is better on my car's Bluetooth.

G891aucu2bqa7

Last year I followed this sequence to update my S7 active:

1. G891AUCU1APE7 > G891AUCU1APG7
2. G891AUCU1APG7 > G891AUCS1APH1
3. G891AUCS1APH1 > G891AUCS2API2
4. G891AUCS2API2 > G891AUCU2APK2
5. G891AUCU2APK2 > G891AUCS2APL1
6. G891AUCS2APL1 > G891AUCU2BQA7 Nougat

It worked perfectly, but now I can't find the recent security updates for G891AUCU2BQA7 it seems like nobody has this firmware.

What should I do to get those updates?

Thanks

You have taken the wrong upgrade path. You will need to flash the full odin stock rom then follow the official upgrade path on the AT&T website
