Confirming the ActiveKey as a HW camera button option on Nougat as well. I use it almost all the time when taking photos.

Sorry about that. Now I finallyI see it in the active key settings under Settings > Advanced Features > Active Key. I thought it was a toggle, but it's just described there and is apparently always supposed to work.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that it doesn't seem to work on the 3CRG2 build.

I can confirm this too, it is actually meant to be a feature of the S7 Active to take photos underwater where the touchscreen doesn't work...

Flash full CRE7 from russian site with Odin, it's the official Oreo version. There is also CRG2 on top of that - unconfirmed update via SD-card. Your phone will remain operator unlocked.

Orea bugs (build number G891AUCU3CRE7):

1) Active key not taking shots while inside camera which was working before in nougat.
2) last letters in contact name disappears if contact name is long during a phone call
3) when portrait mode is switched to landscape mode whether manual or automatic in any video player even stock player, phone freezes for 5 seconds (even not responding to hw buttons) then show landscape although sound is working.

Update: This problem seems to be widely spread over all samsung devices that got oreo update. However, some claimed that remapping apps like button mapper for screenshot use might be the culprit which I actually have. I am going to disable it and restarts and see what happens.

If anyone found a solution or a walk around for the a/m problems or found additional bug, please advise.

Oh I see it's the official update, I was expecting you to be on a straggler old beta build from 2004 xD, jokes aside, good report but it won't reach Samsung/AT&T from here lol.

Forgot to check the size of the download but it updated fast so probably just a security update like someone else said

Yep looks like a security update, coming in at 41 mb on the russian site.

Note that bootloader seems to be updated to v4 with this patch, which would mean that you can't go back to any of the earlier versions.

I think it's interesting how the two prior betas G1 and G2 were at 232 mb. Maybe they had to put fixes on hold until the next update, because they needed more time or something?

CRG3 feels more laggy compared than CRE7 and CRG2 for some reason. I didn't even realized that the bootloader was upgraded until I completed the upgrade on my phone. Ugh, now we are stuck on Oreo.
