Good new for those on AsiaRetail.en MZ616 users. Today is the day for long waited ICS OTA update.

Maybe a clean Honeycomb full flash then only apply OTA update will help.

Reinemesa, I have exactly the same system version and getting the same problems. I suspected that I had problems with missing APKs, I reinstalled everything... but still no luck. Install of ICS aborts... From a German Android forum, I 've read that this update (281.8) is not reffering to 268.6. Retail... but to Vodafone specific tablets... I cannot confirm or deny.... just reporting what has been said in other forums...

Anyway... I think I will be waiting for the OTA.... don't know what else to do...

That's what I thought. Or we change our system to 281.8 or wait for the official update.
Lets hope it takes just a couple days...

Hey im sure this wont work but just incase ill chuck it out there... Would it be possible to manually dosnload the aus retail update and flash it over my aus carrier firmware??

downloading, start install and then get the error messege.

no ics here...

I got the optimal update butnot the ics
And when finshed the downloading and start to instal give me the yalow mark and failed instalaion ?
I'M FROM JORDAN AND HAVE XOOM2 616 rooted

Xoom 2 32gb 3g...still no update this morning... I've got chatting whit the motorola live help yesterday ... The revelation comes out by told me that they are still uploading the firmware... Ahahaha they announced the update and refuge back the "56k bandwidth" for uploading....

As I assume.. I love this tab... I hate honeycomb... It's amazing style but... No performance...

Just got my XOOM MZ616 yesterday and flashed SEART to AURET. And here is image of ICS 4.0.4 update for Australia Retail XOOM 2.

Update:-
1. Retail Australia ICS update notification
2. Retail.en.RU ICS update notification
3. AsiaRetail.en ICS update notification (11/Sept/12)

Note:
Motorola XOOM 2 Pasteur UTMS 16GB & 32GB share same fastboot xml file & ota update zip.

Would you mind sharing the fasboot files for AU and/or Asia reatil? These are handy incase of a soft brick

thank you, i appreciate a lot your help.
now i have the skitch.apk missing! I deleted some apps when i got my xoom2 but i don't remeber which apps!! i backupped them on titanium, before the upgrade i reseted my xoom2 and the backupped files were deleted! i can't upgrade because the MD5 does not match!! i have the upgrade file in my cache but i can't upgrade because of the dismatch of md5 hash values!!
would you please upload the folder system/app files please or the evernote apps or the skitch.apk. i was searching all over the net and nothing for 0.268.4.MZ616.MERETAIL.06 version.
need help please!
