OTG Host adapter, do I just unplug it when I'm finished?

Hello Members
I've just received my HRT Headstreamer Mobile DAC, it comes with a OTG host adapter, and a mini USB to USB cable, when the OTG adapter is plug in a message pops up in the notifications bar saying it's been plugged in, this message then disappears, the same goes for when the Headstreamer DAC's plugged in, so there are no permanent notifications showing while there both plugged in and being used.

When I've finished using the DAC, do I just unplug it from the OTG adapter, and then unplug the OTG adapter from the phone, the reason I ask? Well, as there are no notifications in the bar to say the adapter, or the DAC are being used, and so therefore no 'unmount' options show up, is just unplugging the items the correct thing to do.

Any instructions, or advise would be great thanks, I don't want to risk damaging the OS, or the DAC doing it incorrectly. Thanks

Kind regards
Livio

I just switch my DACs off and unplug them. No harm done.

How is the Headstreamer? I hear good things about it. I'm running a Leckterton UHA-6S.MKII and RSA Intruder myself (sadly my HeadAmp Pico USB DAC/amp doesn't work).

Thanks NZtechfreak, the HRT Headstreamer Mobile sounds like a revelation to the ears on my system, the high frequency detail is precise, and bass is low and controlled, it's a great DAC.
