Don't be afraid to be slightly behind the upgrade curve. This is an excellent phone and easy to work with.

I am pretty sure it was just a rumor about the Google play edition. Honestly I don't think I will upgrade to the new note 3 Roms don't seem to be taking off. Probably going to go with HTC or Nexus.

I'm on a N2 SkyNote 4.3 Rc9z right now, it's really the only 4.3 TW Rom choice so far, I haven't seen any other options so far. It's alright as far as ROMs go, still think CleanROM Ace 4.1.2 was the best TW Rom for N2

My note 2 power button quit, so upgraded to the note 3. 1 day so far, battery is good, screen is very nice, very fast, and I think it's very attractice, I have black and it looks very high-end to me. Came from lots of phones, then n1, n2 now n3.

Speaking as someone whonhas had both i would pick the note 2 hands down over the nexus 5. I sent my nexus 5 back after 2 days...it was not up to expectations

2MP front camera is not crappy. Also, I've come to believe that MP are useless when comparing cameras.

Read the whole sentence. ".... And back." Changes the context a bit.

And while comparing say 10 MP to 12 MP you won't see much of a difference, comparing 8 to 12 and no flash, you most certainly will.

I see lots of hate for Samsung on some boards but I think it's just silly. They do make good hardware.

+1. I totally agree. It will be a year for me in January, first time I've had a phone for this long. I would usually use another line to upgrade after a few months. Haven't had the need.... Totally happy with my N2 ? ?

I have 5 lines which parents and sister. I too upgrade every 6 months for new phones. I hold off for the Note 3. Even I really want it. But I told myself, not worth it for the Note3 from note 2 because I play the Note 3 for a couple hours. After setup nothing diff from note 2

Kind of digging the LG G Flex. 6in curved screen. Possible unlocked boot loader. Wish it had a higher resolution screen though. 1080p at least. Especially when 2k is suppose to rule this year.
