True. And this phone isn't for everyone. Someone wanted to trade their Galaxy S4 to me in exchange for this. I said no way.

Haha I'm loving mine. Just bought a wallet case for it, looking into screen protectors now. Oleophobic it is. I go to the gym everyday and working out with this thing might get awkward. Any suggestions?

I probably would benefit from one of those plans, but it would take away from my favorite hobby of phone flipping. I'm about to flip this phone for a OnePlus One, then that for a Note 3...

Man the LG G3 looks really interesting, but I'm considering more each day to trade my Note 2 for an Nexus 5. Love the Nexus forums where there are so many rom options that it gets confusing.

Just a little worried because I really love the Note 2's screen size.

I'm in the same boat but I just got this phone so I'm enjoying it thoroughly until the Nexus 5 price goes down. At that point I'll sell this one and get it. But you're right the G3 looks exquisite. Too bad it isn't water resistant...

Going from a note 2 to a nexus 5 is a step down...i got an n5 a week after it came out... kept it all of 2 days...cheap device and you get what u pay for. Note 2 is way better imo.

The G3 Absolutely kills the N5 though lol...ill be getting one of tjose bad boys the day it hits the stores here in canada

Just be aware that the nexus 5 battery life sucks.
Haha define suck. I feel like for my usage rate the only thing that's going to not suck involves an extended battery. I'd likely get one for the Nexus 5 IF I got it.

Honestly the only reason I would change from the Note II is that blue tint to the screen and screen burn-in. Those two things are irking me (never thought I cared about the screen so much until this one). This is the best phone I've ever used outside of those two things, easily.

For me price is an issue as I'll be buying out of contract, so the closest next-gen phone I could get with the value of the Note II would likely be that Nexus 5. Praying for a Note 3 though!

Don't know why, but I had a few people tell me they traded their N5 quickly, to me it looks like a great phone for the price, but I haven't owned it. My kid has an N4 and I admit it's great.

The only issue about the G3 is pricing, it's going to cost a ton to buy one off contract.

As of a year or two back, I honestly don't even consider a phone's battery capacity. There are so many after market companies selling extended batteries that it makes it a moot point.

Buy an N5 and slap a 3500 ZeroLemon battery and it should last a couple of days.

I been looking around too. Nexus 5. LG G2. HTC M7. Google Play Editions with heavy dev support for around $200. Just to replace my Note 2. I have a Note 3(love it) but the bootloader is locked and now the gps is acting up.

Hadn't considered G2. Now that I think about it, I like the G Pro 2, let me check how the device threads are looking.

I was burnt so horribly by LG with the G2x that I've boycotted any of their phones that isn't a Nexus. Literally a class action lawsuit had to be filed because of the headaches that phone caused me. The M7 and the Nexus 5 are my two choices at the moment. Lucky that you have a Note 3 though!
