You can have it credited to the account and thus, not have a bill till it is all used up or have it credited towards the price of the phone and lowering your monthly payment for the phone. That is what I intend to do and in a couple of months pay off the balance on the phone and go back to my TMobile $30.00/month prepaid plans that gives me 100 talk mins, unlimited texts and 5.0gb of data.

How do you get 5 gig of data on that plan? Im on sprint right now and im really really thinking of switching I went to a tmobile store and they told me Miami has great coverage and I saw all their plans except that one I seen a 30 bucks plan but that had 2.5 gig instead of the 5 gig.

Can not get the plan at stores. You need to activate SIM card yourself online and you will be able to pick this $30 plan with 100 mins talk, unl texts and 5 gb of data. Since I am 90% of time in wifi! I use $3 unlimited USA Skype calls and the 100 mins when on the road. When done activating, call tmobile to port your number if needed.

I got it done in the T-Mobile store. It used to be called the Walmart plan (don't think it's associated with walmart anymore though). For some reason, I don't think T-Mobile wants people on this plan, that's why it's often difficult to get the store associates to do it for you. But I went to the T-Mobile store and the lady just did it there at the register.

Then again, that was late last year, so maybe they have changed their policy since then.

I got Note 3 after all.
I wanted G Pro, but it does not have AWS HSPA.
I wanted G2, but it has no removable battery and memory card support (same as HTC one).
I wanted Xperia Z, but the battery is not removable.
I wanted S4, but the screen is smaller and white is "dirty" (<5000k).

Samsung Galaxy N3 Active

I was in the T-Mo store today looking at the Note 3. Ready and willing to go ahead and pull the trigger, then the rep says they are all out of the white one. They will have more in by the end of the week. Then mentions, they do have some at another store about 5 miles away though. He looks at me looking all disappointed and says, have you heard the rumor about the N3 active? No, I said. He says, if you can wait to get a new phone you might want to read up as it looks like Samsung is going to be going ahead with the release very soon.

Now so confused, I think I have to wait and see what developes.

EDIT: Fixed broken link

thanks for the link.. yeah i saw this before. i wouldnt go crazy abt buying a waterproof note 3 since it'll be bulkier and god knows when it'll be released. but dont get me wrong. i'd love to own one. but cuz of the above stated factors, i wouldnt go ape over it.

i've owned an S3 for a yr now. its never had any water damage though i've used it in a rainy drizzle. and its fallen several times. but guess wat? no scratches or dents and it still works as good as new. so to me the note 3 active isnt worth holding ur breath for.

Hmm,... I had great use with my Xperia Z in the water. Captured some great moments with family and friends..

A Note 3 Active would be awesome for me. I wouldn't mind it at all.

N900T vs N9005

Any comment on the capability to enable LTE bands which are not available out of the box (enable 700/1700/2100 LTE) for the N9005?

Are the radio capabilities software based or hardware? If software based, then can you "flash" a N900T w/ N9005 firmware and visa versa?

Thanks again.

Radio is determined by hardware. You can use software to disable radios but not to enable ones that don't exist in the phone.

Well I finally took the plunge, ditched Sprint for T-Mobile and I am very pleased with the service I am getting. My dl speeds on T-Mobile are 4 times faster than Sprint. I could never get LTE at my house with Sprint (GS3) and I have constant 4g at home now.

When I called Sprint about cancelling the service rep was quite amusing, he told me that T-Mobile would lock me in a two year contact  , there are so many towers in my area being back hauled (bs line for the past 2 years) and T-Mobile's coverage would be terrible.

Well worth the cancellation fee which was only 160 and I will make that up by selling my S3 on Ebay. Wifi calling is a nice bonus as well, loving this phone and this network.

Welcome to the Magenta family. I've been with tmobile for about 4 years and have been really happy with their coverage. Sometimes out in the country I don't get very good signal. But hey, I'm a city guy anyway haha.

I've always used swift key. Even on my Note 2, but I think i'm gonna keep the stock note 3 keyboard. it's pretty sweet and set up pretty nice
Swype, unfortunately, replaces Google Voice button with their own voice recognition called Dragon. It is also stated on their website.

Because if this, I no longer use Swype.
