I'm not sure T-mo have plans anymore, like ATT and others, phone is charged separately, specific amount for specific time, but to make sure just
go to T-mo website and choose "bring your own device" plan, or check with local store, they may have something not announced etc. Also check if you qualify for corporate discount.

Camera portrait orientation

Anyone have problems when taking pictures in portrait mode? When I view the image in gallery or quickpic the orientation is fine, but when I transfer the image to windows 7 or upload it somewhere it has been rotated counterclockwise. This happens with the stock camera app and the google kitkat camera app. Pictures taken with Focal in portrait are rotated even in the phone galleries.

It's best to just go to the tmobile store and talk to one of the people there. They might hook you up and help you out.

Anyone can get the plans online or in store.. as long as the phone is not simlocked to another carrier.. you can simply walk in and ask for a sim card of the correct size (99 cents to 9.99 depending on sales/promotions etc)

you can also use the prepaid plans (IE the 30$ a month plan from walmart 0 minutes 4 gigs of data at high speed unlimited texts) etc.

The plan is 100 minutes, 5gb data of high speed than its throttled, Unlimited Texting. If you go to Walmart it's 40$ includes sim and first month of service. Tmobile no matter what will charge 10$ for their Sims even through wally world.

One Plus One?

Sooooo....Anybody else waiting, and/or excited for the One Plus One? I'm somewhat leery about a Chinese device, but then again, I ordered a custom HP thru Costco, and it shipped directly from a factory in China. Alleged specs look impressive, and totally customizable system(open source) are really something worth considering. No Knox, locked bootloader, etc. would be a awesome thing, if the hardware/design is as expected..

As does the m8 I'm up for a jump on the 4th. SO when the 11th comes around, i will be back to HTC. Sorry Sammy. Never really liked your phones and only got the Note 3 cause the Xperia Z1 sucked so bad. Now that HTC has a good phone out with sdcard slot, i'm all in. Will miss the big battery, but all battery test show that it gets way better battery life then you would expect from a 2,600mah.

Not going to wait out for the max version ? Howard forums reviewed the M8 ( mate?) And said the One had better Boom Sound. I must confess that I do like the premium fit and finish of the M8 however I know in my heart a smaller screen that what I'm currently using might bug me.

Ive loved HTC since the Ipaq. And as you all know (specially from my sig) i've modded roms for almost all the HTC phones. The DNA was a let down because Verizon discontinued it 3 months after release. So i jumped on the Note bandwagon for resale reasons. I wanted the OG One, but Verizon took so long to release it, it was pointless buying it almost a year after it's outing. Now that the M8 has everything I want, i'm going back to HTC. I love the big screen on the Note 3, but the bugs, even at my level of development can't be fixed. So time to go back to Sense and the easily fixable bugs of High Tech Computers. OH, and i frickin hate the help menu that Sammy has on the phones. I'm tired of getting asked, "ARE YOU SURE" everytime i do anything on this phone. And I really don't appreciate Sammy's , Microsoft approach to it's phones. If i want to use Sammy Search and SVoice, then let me decide, don't make it so that i "HAVE" to use it. I actually like Google Now. So i should be able to make that a short cut. S-Finder is pointless piece of crap.

I had the htc one, even convinced my cousin to get one. After 3 months I got rid of it because I had poor signal due to the aluminum case. My cousin has also had worse signal experience then myself and had to get a thing to boost signal for thr home from his proviser. He also complains that the sensor doesnt work and it always habging up calls or pressing buttons when its up to his ear. Of course the iphonr 4 also has signal issues due to alluminum case when it fiest came out too but the design on iphone is better hopefully htc also designed the new phone better.

I currently have a jump upgrade. I have an S4. Has anybody switched from an S4 to a Note 3? If so, was there a noticeable difference in performance and battery life?

I went from an S3 to the N3. With the S3 I was getting 5-7 hours heavy usage, streaming music, BT, Maps, etc. With the N3 and the same usage I'm getting 20+ hours all using TW.

Please use this thread to discuss devices other than and any comparisons with other devices on or about the Note III in this thread and any other off-topic issues that are not needing a new thread.

Post with respect, this is a helpful community, hope we all learn from this stuff in here.
I was deciding between HTC One and LG g2, went with g2. Both phones are very good however. I'm coming from the note 3:good:.
