Just received my case from a third party on amazon and I couldn't be happier with it. I baby the hell out of my phone buti do occasionally drop it accidentally so I'm glad this case is around. The speaker hole really doesn't bother me much either

Just to let you know that a revision that fixes the speaker hole is supposed to be in production and they're supposed to be shipping me one when they're in..

Got my Otterbox today..only about a month and a halfs wait. Blah..but it was worth it. The case looks great and it doesn't cover the speaker at all, will have pics later!

As promised, here are the pics. Not extremely good in quality, because they were taken on another Fascinate. But, not bad none-the-less.

The last 2 pics are mainly to show the screen protector (when applied with a lens cleaning solution, wet method. I have on the "dry apply" screen protector that was shipped with the Otterbox, but used a lens cleaning solution to apply it) and how much lint the rubber on the case attracts (I had it in my pocket previous to taking these pictures and it has a butt ton of lint on it)

I have the Commuter series case on mine right now and love it, the speaker is not covered on this one. I also have a defender series in the mail Love otter box will not buy any other case.

Best Case I've Tried So Far

Just got this today for the wife and it's awesome. Extremely solid, perfect fit, and feels great in the hand.

I didn't realize it was actually two pieces, a silicon sleeve and then a hard plastic shell on the back and sides, but it's a great set up. Having coverage on the front of the phone means putting the phone face down will be much safer!

The silicon is not the cheap sticky kind that girl's hair gets stuck to, although it is kind of a dust and hair magnet.

My only wish: more colors! I will probably be ordering this for my phone soon.

FYI, I ordered straight from Amazon on Saturday and the speaker hole lines up perfectly.

u had the rubber otter case for about a week before i ordered the commuter case..love it..
the all rubber case for the fascinate just picks up to much lint and crap. .
hope this holds up better than the otterbox for the original droids. .i broke 2 of them before they sent my money back

I don't have the commuter but the defender series, and I think it's great. It has a holster style case and a strong plastic cover plus a rubberized cover over that. I've dropped it on the sidewalk and didn't even ding the case, it's like body armor for your phone. I would reccomend an otterbox case for anyone who is rough on their phones or just clumsy. I got mine on Amazon from a company called Less Is Always More LLC, they are great. I accidentally ordered the case for the captivate not the Fascinate, and when I contacted them thru Amazon they responded within an hour and had me send it back and sent me the right one at no extra charge. All they asked for in return was a good review for the company. It is a refreshing thing to find a company that actually cares about their reputation and customer service. I would recommend looking into this Company for your accessory needs, they are on Amazon and Ebay. no I don't work for them, I am loyal to those who go the extra mile for me just to Mike me happy, that's how business should be done, but usually is not in todays world.
