What more do you think a rom will do for this phone? It's already fast as hell and you can still theme it.

A lot more!!!! A custom rom give it better battery life, performance, and customizable options, oh yeah, louder headphone volume! That's enough for me.

Why doesn't everyone in this thread grab the T-Mobile Note 3 (N900T). Prove a point to AT&T!!!

Better battery life - check...
Customizable options - check...
Louder Headphone Volume - check...

But if you are like me, it bugs me to know I could do something to my phone, but am being blocked from doing it.

Otherwise, I am very happy with what changes I can do to the Note 3 with simply having root.

You can sell it and by the T-Mobile variant (N900T).

Battery life is good here. I have 0 performance issues and there's not much more to customize imo. I guess everyone has different tastes.

Yeah I'm not sure why anyone would come to a developers forum like XDA for the Note3 when the stock kernel and rom on this phone are so perfect, right? In fact this phone is so perfect no one should even need to root it. I think you guys are kind of silly for wanting to do cool stuff with your phones when Samsung and AT&T have given you all everything you'll ever need, the perfect mobile experience. Man, the nerve of some people to be so rude and disrespectful to such super cool companies who've given us the phone that is everything to all people. Just because I am perfectly satisfied with my phone means it is good enough for everyone else too. I have zero "issues" too...sheesh.

....trying to respond in way so I don't get banned....
I'm glad you agree with me. Sorry your phone sucks, but maybe you should have purchased a phone that does everything for you. Don't cry :crying: because you don't know how to do anything yourself and totally rely on others to make you like your phone better.

I'm never buying: a new phone on the release date.
Possibly never another ATT phone.
It appears used prices for att gn 3 is about $200 less than tmobile used.

I wonder how much money ATT and Samsung lost from people returning bricked phones. I am fortunate enough to not have bricked one but I came close a few times. I completely understand the move even though I really wish development can take off for the ATT GN3.

On a side note, is kind of relaxing not flashing a new ROM every other day.
