Ouch, the ATT Note 3 Development threads are ghost towns :(

I wonder how much money ATT and Samsung lost from people returning bricked phones. I am fortunate enough to not have bricked one but I came close a few times. I completely understand the move even though I really wish development can take off for the ATT GN3.

On a side note, is kind of relaxing not flashing a new ROM every other day.

Amen! Between my GS4, Nexus 10 & captivate I'm flashing something like twice each week just for the hell of it. Nice not having to delete data and restore / download all my stuff all the time.

I have rather enjoyed not flashing new ROMs..There has been an increase in theming for the stock rom..which means I still get to tweak my ROM, have root access, and full functionality. As much as I like Cyanogenmod ROM, CM is almost always half assed thrown together or missing proprietary functions (like s-pen, MultiWindow, etc)

Wow I just checked the two development threads here for the ATT Note 3 yikes :( /cry

This phone has been out almost 4 months, and still ZERO development on it.

Tumble weeds blowing, and crickets chirping.

This is unbelievable.

I had the ATT Note 2, and 4 months after release, the development thread was huge, with pages and pages of custom ROM's and kernels, etc...

Screw ATT. Don't think I will ever buy another ATT Samsung phone again. Seems like HTC is the only development friendly manufacturer left, or get a Nexus phone, but they always have crap battery life. Or spend million bucks on an international unlocked Samsung phone.

This phone has only been out since October 4th. Which makes it 2 months old... btw we CAN flash roms now.

Yes, was reading that thread earlier. Works for MI9, though there's mention for MJ5 and MI9 as well. Don't give up on your AT Note 3 just yet! I'm going to try possibly this weekend, since I'm on MI9. :)

It will work on any firmware you have. Issues arise when you want to return to stock (or if you mess up and don't follow directions as they are listed) seeing as there is no recovery for our phones yet and there isn't an Odin restore to stock available yet for the newer firmwares either.

If you mess up installing a ROM, there is a way to go back to stock thread. I have already done this.
I installed Jedi from the T-Mobile forms and I did something stupid and got into a bootloop.
Followed all instructions to Flash back to Stock and upgrade/Root MJ5.
SWEEEEEET....And the only issue was getting Heimdall to fire up. Once I got that going, I fixed my phone.
The OP on (Restore back to stock thread) is very helpful. #HappyNote3OwnerNow
