Here's how I use TASKER with my phones.

I have 3 children, 5- 7 and 9. and a great-grandfather 86yr who lives with my family. My grandfather wander off constantly like it was 1855 and ask people for the blueprint of the first Airplane by the white brothers.
My oldest son got off the school bus, caused by a quarrel between children on the bus. The problem was that he got off the bus in town and not where he should, and left standing in the middle of a big sitty 7yr old,, and not able to get home. Standing there waiting for my son, to pick him up from the school bus, and got the message that he walked off the buss in the city 37 miles back. Something died inside me.... I understood then and there, that this going to end badly.

I threw myself on the phone to the police and asked for help, but got the answer that it will probably be resolved, by some one handing him over to the police by the public. But do to the criminal climate and forced immigration arriving in my country, I was terrified....
For some miraculous reason, my neighbor called me 2 minuts later and wondered why my son was standing in the middle of the sity alone.

From that moment on, EVERYONE in my family has a WP5 pro with a huge battery... With Tasker installed....

1. Debloated your phone for battery consumption: /removing unnecessary sh*t on your phone... My phones last for 6 to 7 days on standby before chargeing again....

2. My Tasker looks like this.. And Here is the modified track app.... And here is my track project file... This is a file from my rooted phones, so if you do not have root, some of these features will not work. Regardless, the sms function will. just make shures that the GPS function is turnd ON.
DO NOT download these apps from other sources. caan't guarantee the security....

And using this case for the phones.
In order for the SMS commands NOT to start randomly in a normal sms covertation, all sms have a ".." behind them.

SMS commands....
Sound on: Ljud.. Turn the south on full volume /root
Trackview: Trv.. Start the Trackview app
Call: Ring.. makes the phone call you back
Net: Net.. Check what is active in the phone Gps / Wifi etc.
Wifi off: Wifi.. Turns the wifi off / root
Alive: Alive.. Sends status report on the phone
Boot: Boot.. Restarts the phone / root
GPS: Gps.. Sens the GPS position
Gps On:Gpson.. Turns on the phones GPS / root
No, I don't know about that. I never need to craft my phone software. I need it now, due to only one reason, prevent my phone to killing background apps after 30mins. Still believe that vendor will fix it.

What version of the OS do you have?
V3 V4 V5 ?

If V3 ... you can root yor system by the guide for WP5 ....

What version of us OS do you have?
I wrote it few times before. Android 10 (oukitel V5). Phone in Czech has been distributed with V6, but I has been hope that installing vendor official one (V5) will solve my issue, but not. Currently have open ticket to local vendor to get V6 software back (for testing purpose, for all of you - it makes touch screen more accurate).

No...sorry, have no solution for you.
However you can learn how to use AVBtools, and by now be rooted and stop asking questions... and posting solutions instead...

You keep saying V6 ... ?
When version 5 is under development... ?
And my phone direct from the factory have V4.
How can you then have V6 on your phone?

Hi... it's you again... No...sorry, have no solution for you.

I know how to use ABD, but there is no root solution, as you tested with TWRP and Magisk. If vendor will not solve my issue, it is time to get reffung, or get another pohone and wait for solution.

AVBTools did not provide solution, at-least as I know. If you know how to do that, just post guide. Wrong step may kill the phone, no one want this.

????? It's called trial and error for a reason !!
you don't demand a solution from a community!!
You participate and develop it....

Can't ANSWER calls !.
Have detected a problem of "uninstalling" the defult old Contacts and Dialer and installing other on this phone unrooted. When someone calls you, there is no way to answer the call, cost by the Contact and Dialer apps shuting down after 30 minutes.

If you encounter this problem!.
To rectify this, reinstall the old default Contact by ADB this command:
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.android.contacts

And set the default app for answering your calls to (system default) app in default app menu.

Hello,
so I just replace vbmeta.img and boot.img in folder with original firmware files, then flash it? After that install magisk apk, and thats all? What you mean with orange state message during boot? Can be root hidden, I mean i can fully use my phone with banking apps, google play apps etc?.

Mean time I'm in touch with vendor, they are fully aware about 30mins shut down apps problem, they provided some solution using phone manager (built in), but it did not works. Not only wp5 pro is affected, they are preparing new firmware version.

Guide to get partial root... Working on complete system root

This is what I did...

Downloaded the latest Magisc manager from here..... and put the apk file on my SD card.
Using the SP_flash tool you can download here....
DO NOT FORMAT ORE FLASH THE HOLE Android 10 WITH SP_Flash_Tool !!!!!!

Lets partial root the phone ...

Step 1. Turn On your phone.
Step 2. Go in to your settings/My devices/tap build number 7 times and go 1 step back.
Step 3. go down to system/Developer options. turn on OEM unlocking and USB debugging.
Step 4. Turn OFF the phone and wait for 30 seconds
Step 5. Hold down volume+ and power button at the same time, a menu appears, select fastboot, press volume down to confirm.
Open Terminal ore CMD in windows and use the command :
fastboot flashing unlock Pres volume+ to confirm the bootloader unlocking.
Step 6. In SP tool, unmark all files except vbmeta. Load in my modified vbmeta ....
It is important to flash one file at a time and in the right order. Click the download button and with usb cable connected, press and hold the phones power button until the phone turns off, release the power button and the flashing will start of this vbmeta file.

1.png

Step 7. Remove the cable from the phone "DONT START IT" Now we flash my boot image....

Step 9. Start your phone, Go through the Start guide. Install Magic Manager from your SD card and verify root on your phone. This root will not interfere with banking apps / Netflix or anything else, The root is invisible.

For those of you who need a Root Explorer, but are tired of apps from the play store with advertising or don't want to spend a fortune on paid apps which turns out to be crap anyway.

I'll give you my full FX Explorer.
Install it on everything you can install apk files on.

Please tell me someone else out there also has this issue even after formatting!

I have text at the bottom of the screen saying 'Debugging Mode'.

*Edit* Could it be the scatter file being as my CPU is MT6762D and the downloaded scatter is MT6765?

SwedishForenger, you're doing incredible work!

SwedishForenger, you're doing incredible work!

This is what i recognized also.
Scatter file from firmware has 65in name "MT6765_Android_Scatter.txt".
general: MTK_PLATFORM_CFG
info:
- config_version: V1.1.2
platform: MT6765
project: d937d
storage: EMMC
boot_channel: MSDC_0
block_size: 0x20000

My phone reporting MT6762V/WD. So oukitel is ok to provide firmware MT6465 as original for WP5pro.

Does watermak has been displayed after you tried rooting with SwedishForenger guide?

Debugging Mode .... RED txt

Flashing the latest firmware OUKITEL_WP5Pro_EEA_V05_20201126_125003

Sorry to hear that you have this problem. I have not experienced this, so I decide to try to get my phone to show red txt by flashing the firmware in different programs. And here's what I found.
You can use different flashing programs for boot / recovery / lk / vbmeta etc.
But for full firmware install, the super.img are using the checksum as part of the authentication process. This firmware is tied to a specific flashing tool and CheckSum. flashing it in other tools misses the CheckSum part and the firmware recognizes this and gives a red warning txt.
To flash this firmware and not get red text, use these SP_MDT tools below with the CheckSum file. Try both SP_MDT flashing tools, but do not format before flashing. Flash the firmware back to back until the red text disappears. If I remember correctly, I flashsd with RomVerify_SP_MDT_v3 without any problems.

I put together a small clip that shows how I did it.

If you have formatted the memory on the phone during the flashing process, you probably have also lost your IMEI number. Not a big deal. Just follow my guide to retrieve it.

Restore your IMEI

Don't forget to Root the phone afterword

Hi all... Until we get ROOT to this phone.

I have been using WP5 Pro as my daily driver for 9 months now, and am super happy with it.
However... After 3 months, the large 8000Ah battery didn't last as long as it should.
So I opened it up in ADB :
    adb shell 'pm list packages -f' | sed -e 's/.*=//' | sort
    ore
    adb shell pm list packages
and took a closer look at the pre installed crap on the phone. And I was shocked by all the unnecessary s*it i found. com.mediatek.atmwifimeta : Why is all my Wifi traffic logged and sent to a remote server !!!.

To you who are interested in removing bloatware on your phone.
I put together a list of crap you can delete without affecting your daily use of the phone.

Just Copy & Paste in terminal and restart the phone.

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.ssui.chdmodel adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.companiondevicemanager adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.dynsystem adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.wallpaper.livepicker adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.tachyon adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.docs adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.googleassistant adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.wellbeing adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.youtube.music adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.elephanttek.faceunlock adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.emergency adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.nfc adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.elephanttek.faceunlock adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.adups.privacypolicy adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.backupconfirm adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.adups.fota adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.bips adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.cts.ctsshim adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.cts.priv.ctsshim adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.localtransport adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.partnerbrowsercustomizations.example adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.printspooler adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.sharedstoragebackup adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.wallpaperbackup adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.debug.loggerui adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.traceur adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.htmlviewer adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.restore adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.restore adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.feedback adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.onetimeinitializer adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.gms.location.history adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.videos adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.mediatek.atmwifimeta adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.calllogbackup adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.ssui.setupwizard adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.ssui.sos

You can Reinstall one or all apps again by putting:
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.app name

With USB Debugging enabled on your phone.....
There is a lot to copy and paste, so I created a script that cleans your phone in 10 seconds from all this bloatware. Download it at the bottom of this post to your desktop, unzip it to your desktop, connect phone and double-click the Claning file.

The default launcher on this phone is terrible. Here is a good alternative...
Using Mod SMART LAUNCHER 5 PRO
You can download it here: here.... here.... ore here..... just incase here too......

SOLUTION: DISSAPPEARING NOTIFICATIONS AFTER APPS UPDATES THROUGH THE GOOGLE STORE

I do not understand what was the reason to make such a ****ty software by Oukitel, but finally i found a way to fix this. It was so annoying, when You have to check if notifications settings are all right every few days.

    Quick tutorial:
    1. You need root privileges. Installing Magisk was described some many times that i will skip this part.
    2. You need list of packages names for the apps, where You want to keep notifications settings all the time. You can obtain it for example through the shell:
    adb shell "pm list packages|cut -f 2 -d ":""
You can also use some 3rd party app manager, which shows installed package names or check it via Google store. It does not matter.
    3. Now it is time to pull & edit /data/system/ssui_notification file.
This is content of my ssui_notification:
    {packageName='com.ssui.keyguard', mainSwitch=1, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=0, cornerSwitch=2, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}
    {packageName='com.ssui.launcher3', mainSwitch=0, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=0, cornerSwitch=2, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}
    {packageName='com.android.music', mainSwitch=1, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=0, cornerSwitch=1, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}
    *
    *
    *
    {packageName='com.twitter.android', mainSwitch=1, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=1, cornerSwitch=1, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}
    {packageName='com.android.email', mainSwitch=1, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=1, cornerSwitch=1, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}
    {packageName='com.linkedin.android', mainSwitch=1, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=1, cornerSwitch=1, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}

All You have to do is copy one line for example:
    {packageName='com.facebook.orca', mainSwitch=1, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=1, cornerSwitch=1, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}
and past it on the bottom with changed package name:
    {packageName='YOUR.APP.PACKAGE.NAME', mainSwitch=1, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=1, cornerSwitch=1, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}
This is example for Signal messenger:
    {packageName='org.thoughtcrime.securesms', mainSwitch=1, lockScreenSwitch=0, showDetailSwitch=0, handsupSwitch=1, cornerSwitch=1, userOptSwitch=1, listType=1, status=1, userOperated=0}
Repeat this for all apps with disappearing notifications and save the file.
    4. After that You have to overwrite stock ssui_notification with just modified file. If You can not do this because of permission denied error, try to first delete stock file and after that copy modified file to the /data/system. It works for me.
    5. Reboot your phone*
    * I do not know if it is necessary step, but i did it to make sure that it will work.

Voila, your notifications should not disappear anymore after apps update. I have checked it on few apps and so far it works!

Unfortunately, this is not the best solution and You have to repeat this procedure after installing new apps, but probably most of people do not install new apps very often. I think it will be not a problem to make easy script to add automatically every installed app to the ssui_notification file, but the best solution will be if we will find which exactly process is responsible for this and just kill it. Maybe somebody will find that.

I hope that it will be helpful for the rest of frustrated Oukitel users ;) Good Luck!
    3
    Ok.
You need the latest stock firmware (v15) with unlocked bootloader. Install all drivers.
To unlock bootloader you need to do this:
    1. In setting - About Phone - tap several times on Build number (developer options)
    2. In Satting - System - Developer options set OEM unlocking and USB debbuging.
Reboot to bootloader -Vol UP+ Power and select fastboot (Vol Up- select, Vol Down -confirmation)
    In platform-tools ( I copyed cmd.exe to this folder)
    Code:
    fastboot flashing unlock
    Code:
    fastboot flashing unlock_critical
(Every time you need confirm with Vol UP)
!WARNING! All data will be lost.
    Reboot to system.
    Repeat steps 1 and 2.
Then we install GSI (with TWRP or without).
Boot.img must be from stock firmware.
You must have vbmetaAndroidSC_mod.img and Havoc-OS-v3.12-20201230-Official-GApps-arm64-ab.img in platform-tool folder.
Link for Havos 3.12 - https://sourceforge.net/projects/havoc-os/files/arm64-ab/ ( second with Gapps). Extract img from zip.
    Reboot to fastboot.
    In fastboot mode
    Code:
    fastboot --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmetaAndroidSC_mod.img
    Code:
    fastboot -w
    Reboot to fastbootd
    Code:
    fastboot reboot fastboot
    In fastbootd
    Code:
    fastboot erase system
    Code:
    fastboot delete-logical-partition product
    Code:
    fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash system Havoc-OS-v3.12-20201230-Official-GApps-arm64-ab.img
    Code:
    fastboot -w
    Return to normal fastboot
    Code:
    fastboot reboot bootloader
    In fastboot
    Code:
    fastboot erase userdata
    Code:
    fastboot reboot

The system will boot in a few minutes
But your phone won't have a Googl Play certificate.
To fix this problem I did this:
Install Magisk-v23.0.apk (disabled Check Updates and in Update Chanel set Custom Channel)
    Reflash boot.img to magisk_patched_boot.img by @xmucio
    In fastboot
    Code:
    fastboot flash boot magisk_patched_boot.img
    Code:
    fastboot --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmetaAndroidSC_mod.img
    In Magisk set MagiskHide.
From Magisk repository I installed Riru, BusyBox, MagiskHide Props Config and manualy SafetyNet Fix 2.1.1 (via Install from storage). Then I dissabled all Googl apps (Play market and so on).
With help from MagiskHide Props Config I made a substitution of the phone and installed the certificate.
    In Termix I done this:
    Code:
    su
    Code:
    props
You will seen like on picture.
At first I done 2 (Forse BASIC key attestation)
    2
d - (pick value from device list)
    3 - (Ulefone, becouse I have it)
    All confirmed.
Then I done 1 (Edit device fingerprint
    1
    f
    3 - Ulefone
    Then enabled Google apps
SafetyNet passed. The device is certified.

Had trouble making calls after flashing the Oukitel firmware to the phone.
and daild *#06# and discovered that I had lost my IMEI number, which is used to register my phone on the carrier network. Without an IMEI number, you can either call, text or surf the internet. So it's crucial that you restore that number. Here is a small guide on how to reset your IMEI number on ALL smart phones, As long as you have USB drivers for that specific phon.
I will use Windows 10 in this example, as this is the most common operating system to date. If linux users want a guide too, send me a pm.
