Can't see why I would bother with this now that all the quad core devices are out.
This just looks like a brick in comparison. It's like going back in time two years :)
Not a vendor advertisement in any way shape or form ? LMAO !!! :)

How does the X01S's battery compare to that of the other Android 5.1 smartwatches? Which one lasts the longest?

I'm very interested in seeing if its battery really does have a 600 mAh capacity, or is simply labeled as such. That would be ~50% greater than most of the other watches, all of which have 350-480 mAh batteries!

Thanks

Had for a week

It so far suits my needs... a little phone on a watch strap.
YouTube works, google play work all apps so far....voice typing with swift key is decent enough and if connected to a Bluetooth keyboard typing is easy ...not too difficult if just using the screen but slow.
The screen seems reasonable I've tried 'Sonic dash' in sunlight at full brightness and i could just about see it and it is as responsive as i would have hoped.
The speaker needed me to install a volume booster app as it was really quiet but now is fine.
It connects really well to speakers and streams to my TV quick enough.
camera is reasonable for 2mp obviously nothing too amazing but as good as the first Samsung gear at least.
Installed a app called tablet remote and that allows me to teather 'to some extent' to my phone so i can control the music player and remote operate my camera shutter (takes time to set up but works-ish)
Tried loading a new launcher (lightning launcher) as it is what i have used on my phones for years. This was majorly buggy and lost some of the features including the drop down status bar and the accelerator started playing up.

If anyone can figure out how to put better watch faces onto it without a different launcher that'd be useful.

In the box i received there was a battery pre installed and another in the box both marked as 600mAh.
I left it sat at home picking up emails, google and calendar notifications about 20 notifications over WiFi from 8 am till 11 pm it has gone from 100% to 77% battery. This probably doesn't help but it seems reasonable to me for a mini smart phone.

Any battery life impressions of the watch when you're out and about with the SIM, 3G data, and GPS enabled? (not necessarily actively using them all day, but with the toggles enabled)

Thanks

Had it since 20 days...Not really the same but the M8 IMacwear version. I suppose is the same hardware and software (?) But I'm not sure. Seem really the same and I can't find anywhere the IMacwear brand. I wasn't clever enough and I paid 100 € for that instead of 70€, and I hadn't received the extra battery.

I had a zeblaze blitz quad core round watch with 5.1 android software. What can I say is that this one is really reliable...All seems to function without the huge problems I notice in that one. Bt connection is stable, WiFi isn't bad A-GPS is fast and function really well. I use Samsung S-health as activity tracker and as I walk with it it recognises the activity automatically and counts steps, heart rate isn't bad too...if I compare it with my Note 4 the results are not far away.
After 5-6 discharge I reach 15 hours use with WiFi-3g always on and light use. Zeblaze Blitz 5-7 hours. So a full day. 3 days with airplane mode. Zeblaze Blitz 1,5 days, watch use.
Microphone and speaker are really good nobody notice I'm speaking through the watch and I can listen really well.
I don't like the bezel, is really too large in comparison with the screen and the black isn't well als in amoled display. Display isn't the best I have ever seen:(
As watch it looks however nice. And 1gb ram + sd card + 8 Gb ram are an incredible plus. Nothing to compare with zeblaze blitz with 512 MB +4GB. Probably it couldn't win in any Antutu competion, but the user experience is good, all scrolls fast, there aren't much lags and apps installed working quite good. The android version avalaible is really complete and in comparison to sinsoft software created for blitz zeblaze, you have the impressiin of wearing a smartphone. You are able even to stamp with it. You have enough place to bring all the major app with you WA, telegram, meteo, YouTube, Facebook, etc.

I appreciate it as reliable and sturdy companion. Two things that are probably more important to me than wear the last quad core watch.
If someone can find how to had new watchfaces the four installed are not beautiful at all?

Using this for 3 days. Not impressed so far. It' s Fifine attempt Nr. 2 to my mind. Rooted it with Kingo Root, then replaced by SuperSU. Did not manage to install Xposed Framework with Flashfire. The process is finished as it should be, but nothing happens.
Would be nice to get TWRP recovery for this. The latest MTK Droid tool and SF tools doesn't look to work properly with it.
Speaker is too quiet.
Got already battery drop from 92% to 0% all of sudden. Resembles similar problem in Fifine W9

Hi...
I have couple of question regarding this watch...
What android version is it running (kernel).
And could you grab rom from this device maybe I could get TWRP working on it.
Thx.
It 's Android 5.1 kernel 3.10.72
I will try to ask Gearbest to get rom from manufacturer.

Because the chip is meant for a phone with a larger battery. I'm going from a Finow Q1 to this as it has less cores and a bigger battery in hope for a usable day.

On gearbest it says the watch is waterproof, but I wonder how if the sim or sd card goes in via the side?

Has anyone verified GPS (sat only) yet? I don't see any antenna in the strap which is worrying.

Cheers,

Andrew

Also this video at about 12:00 indicates the ROM is loaded with crapware. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVXuIwmtktQ

One day lasting is normal. Running with bt, GPS, 3g as a 40%/hour draining, much more than the quadcore I had ~70%.
Therefore you can run listening music and using runtastic for 2 and a half hour. That's not impressive but even not too slim.
GPS alone I think is very poor. I don't know where or if there is a GPS antenna in the bracelet.
I notice two three sudden shutdowns in this weeks and I manage to reboot it only pressing simultaneously the two hardwares button. I didn't success rooting it using kingoroot apk...I think I would try with the windows app. Still waiting for a firmware, I asked Imacwear without any success.

I have thrown this watch away, real garbage. Don't buy it unless you aren't afraid to loose your money.
I had also several sudden shutdowns, have to unscrew the back cover to reinstall battery to be able to start. That at one moment the watch become very hot, it started to smell with burned plastic and now no 3g, no phone calls at all

It happens also to me two three times...but if you press the two buttons simultaneously it starts over again or enter in recovery mode there you choose the last entry and it starts again...These Problems you mentioned seems to be software bugs, however you can try to give it back. However if we can have the firmware and someone who knows what is doing I think this watch would be really useful, cause its cpu isn't so battery hungry and you are plenty of memory space for your music and apps.

Today full day use with 3g always on, a pair short telephonecalls, mails received and read, Facebook notifications, light use start from 100% at 8.30 am end with 27% at 11 pm.
