This is a TWRP Backup of the stock rooted system.
*Warning this restore method has not been tested on other LG G5 H830 devices. Restore at your own risk.
Install Directions:
1. Download the folder and it's contents.
2. Place folder and contents into TWRP Backup Folder
3. When booted in recovery TWRP Make sure System is not in Read-Only Mode. To change this in TWRP go to "Mount" and ensure the Mount system partition read-only box is not checked. If it is checked simply uncheck the box and go back to the main menu.
4. Click restore and navigate to the downloaded TWRP backup.
5. Swipe to restore back to stock rooted.

*Note this restore will skip the initial setup process so you will have to add your google account Wi-Fi Networks without a guide*

Download full folder Via Dropbox
Download .zip file Via Dropbox
Works! Thanks so much man!!!

My phone only goes into twrp after flashing a mod in the international section and I've completed the following steps below, but phone won't recognize backup on sd card. Can someone point me in the right direction?

1. Downloaded and extracted zip file

2. Placed unzipped folder in my twrp backups.

3. Booted into recovery and clicked om restore but file not showing up.

4. Checked to make sure twrp is not ready Only checked and it's not

**UPDATE** I changed to a different computer and was able to add the twrp backup to my internal drive, but still same problem of it nor showing up for a restore

Can you just flash zip file or need to extract and go through restore process?

When the file is unzipped is the folder titled TWRP or something else?
This should be the correct file path:
SD card/TWRP/BACKUPS/LGH830d94daed4/STOCK_SYSTEM2016-01-01--04-58-43

having same issue with twrp not seeing the backup. Kinda weird. Trying it again by downloading the zip on a different computer and extracting to the directory. Wiped system and everything prior so I am sitting on a dud right now lol.

edit: Found my issue though. Didn't like the folder in twrp that it was backed up into. Made a new backup (of nothing) and then moved the actual backup to that folder and it took to it. Easy fix. Restoring now. Thanks.

editedit: It failed to restore. Ahh well. Just gonna restore stock tot and call it a day. Thanks!

Yeah probably going to take this post down because only a few have successfully restored and every time they restore my Google Play Store has errors Downloading apps. I have to remove my Google account from the accounts page and sign back in daily. Probably going to TOT back to stock also. The only sensitive data recorded in the TWRP backup seems to be my serial number for my phone. Could be why Google Play is bumpy having so many different accounts under one serial number. I recommend all others that did the restore to TOT restore also.

!*!*!*!!*!*!*!!*!*!*!PLEASE CHECK YOUR SERIAL NUMBERS!!! MAKE SURE THE SERIAL IN THE SOFTWARE MATCHES THE ONE ON YOUR BOX!!*!*!*!*!*!*!

Thanks for trying though! Definitely a A+ for effort.

If it worked as it should have, would have made going back to stock hell of a lot easier lol.

As someone with a mac who doesn't want to deal with reliving the whole TOT flashing experience, if anyone would be willing to PM me a system twrp restore I would be VERY thankful. :)

I'm working on it still. I never said I was going to take it down for good. Just need a weekend to examine and analyze what exactly is going on.
