Yes , this how i ended up on this thread last night , I Soft bricked my phone trying to get the app uninstall to work. So I huge Thank you to all involved with this method of prime conversion, I dont have the prime version , I spent the money for the OEM Verint , but this process fixed that version very nicely, so Thank You one and all.You can always force SuperSu to install "normally".
You need to create a text file named ".supersu" with "SYSTEMLESS=false" in data.
You can do this from a file explorer, from TWRP terminal, or from adb.
Ex for adb this should work:
Non-systemless root can softbrick your phone so look on google first to be sure you know what you are doing.Code:adb shell echo "SYSTEMLESS=false">>/data/.supersu
