Presenting Team-M8 UNOFFICIAL ROM Builds MEGA Thread
[/COLOR]

This thread is a list of ROMs currently being built and tested by Team-M8 and using Team-M8 device trees and kernel source. None of these ROMs are the work of Team-M8, nor will any of our members take credit for any of the work here. The kernel has been tweaked and reworked by @fizbanrapper and @smac0628 with commits from (literally) thousands of other developers.

We will simply be sharing our personal ROM builds with the community to give users greater access to the choices that Android affords them.

This thread will also be a constant WIP, and edited every so often as needed.

About the team:
Team-M8 was started as an effort to help one another with compiling AOSP ROMs from source for the HTC One M8. Some of us had a lot of knowledge already, but the team environment has allowed each of us to grow faster than would be possible on our own.

In a very open and casual environment, we've helped each other through countless build errors and fixing each other's code. We are in no way territorial about our builds. These ROMs are open source and we feel that Android is all about sharing and having choices.

This ideal is even embodied in our custom kernel, which prioritizes your freedom to make choices about how you'd like the kernel to operate. You have the freedom to make it perform as you see fit.

Feel like you're missing out? Wish you could join?

You can! We've got a group of 24 at present, but the more the merrier. While we were initially targetting contributors (and developers) who can compile from source, we also need testers! Some of us don't have CDMA devices, so that can be a big help.

What about Sense & GPE ROMs?

Can't be compiled from source. GTFO.

We will try and give as many credits to all the real devs out there that we can. We don't know everyone, so we might leave some of you out. If you feel the need for mentions, let us know, we will gladly add you.

On a similar note, we don't want to step on anyone's toes here either. If we include your ROM here, and you do not want it here, please let one of us know and we will take it down. We will be providing links to the official threads that have the official builds too.

If there are any issues with any of these builds, DO NOT contact the official thread and complain or report errors or logs to them! These are personal builds and any errors with these builds should not be a burden on the real maintainers and devs of the official builds. You can notify us here, but no promises on replies or help. Usually someone will help you though.

We would suggest, if you do come upon errors, to clean flash the official build, as recommended by the instructions of that ROM's official thread, and see if that error still is present. Then you may get yourself a log and kindly report that error in the appropriate thread.

Please maintain respect for all users here, noobs and experts alike. NO BS! Keep the OT to a minimum, or we will have the thread cleaned. We are doing this as a favor to the community, and because we want to. No one is paying anyone around here for any of our time, same goes for almost all the devs out there, so please maintain a good deal of respect. If you don't like something, go make your own ROM!
We will categorize the ROMs according to what theme engine they have

Been working with this group of guys for 6+ months now and I'm amazed by their growth.

Sometimes it's a sort of home away from home and android is what we all have in common.

We don't always have a ton of time to officially maintain for a ROM team, and surely can't push to 20+ different teams' github accounts on a daily or weekly basis. Sharing our personal builds (as opposed to doing "official" builds) is the best way we can deliver all that android has to offer without having the overhead and bother of joining an actual team.

So for me Team-M8 has been something amazing that's fill with a bunch of guys just 100% committed to learning and teaching people everything they can. From people like @fizbanrapper to @PunkUnity and the many others that have taught me so much! Truthfully before this collaboration I had all but given up on trying to compile ROMs at all! But here we are and hopefully everyone enjoys the work we put forth. At this point I most certainly enjoy doing this!

Team-M8 is a great community of android enthusiast from all walks of life, from around the world who want too learn and share with one another and the android community at large.

~ Fellow flashaholics and RUU junkies! ~

MultiROM v33 is out and supports android 6.0 Marshmallow .
You will need:
*MultiROM installer zip
*TWRP 3.0 (with multirom)
*rom with a compatabile kernel
( Team-M8 kernel includes kexec hard-boot patch for MultiRom support!!! --thx for that @fizbanrapper-- )

Pleae read the MultiROM v33 thread for Dow loads, details and updates.

Thanks to @Tasssadar @nkk71 @Captain_Throwback @MassStash
and the rest of the MultiROM contributors
for updating this amazing MOD and feeding our addiction!!!

Beware, there be dragons!!!
have a NAND backup and be comfortable using an RUU .

Now, @fizbanrapper told us to make our reserved posts to something about team m8, so I will. I haven't been apart of this group for long but all the stuff that has happened has been an amazing journey from a couple of ROMs in testing, to @punkunitt pumping out 5 different ROMs every day. The most amazing thing that probably happened was when @coachcrey425 was able to build the ROMs with GCC 6.0 For the kernel! That's all I have to say now, thanks!

If we have a ROM listed but don't have it for download, there's a reason for it. Either it doesn't build, doesn't boot, or we have been asked not to host the files. But we should be updating the OP with links to the Official Builds Thread, if one exists. That way if we don't have it, someone else might and you can at least get the link here. The Team-M8 kernel has many many updates and upgrades in it. Plus the authorship and history of it is 100% legit. Fizbanrapper has already started to get current with a lot of caf commits, and should have them all at some point in the future. He's been pretty busy with other things in the kernel lately. But given some time, the kernel will be even better than it is now, which I think is the best out for this device by a longshot.
