Overclock xoom 4G

No you can load a OC kernel on top. I am running Tachi.

It does not break 4G? I thought 3.2.2 is needed for the 4G radio to work correctly?

The kernel is separate from 3.2.2. Do NOT load the rooted 3.2.2 image that is stickied here. It breaks wifi at this time.

OK thanks. For anyone else, I did tachi without issue and can OC @ 1.5. I tested wifi and 4g and had no issue.

Just a quick update. I was on a trip with an area that had no 4G and turning off wireless did not result in an auto config of 3G until I did a reboot. This morning I am back in my town and turned off wireless and did not get 4G until I rebooted.

After I rebooted I could switch between wireless and 4G without issue. I tried it 5-6 times and was able to go back and forth between 4G and wireless.

Not sure why it did not work early this morning before a reboot.

Based on the fact that a couple others had issues with connectivity on the upgraded Xoom, I guess I will wait of use the Rogue OC kernel instead since that once says it is compatible with 3.2.2
