i rooted my defy plus but now i cant over clock it... i'm useing setcpu n its show that itsmax is 1000MHz... plz help me out...
I changed the values and i can feel the difference. However, when i use an app such as CPU-Z it still says 300-1000mhz, while my cpu runs at 300-1300...or isn't it? should it be like this? I mean, do the changes apply , even if it isn't seen by apps like CPU-Z?Try SetVSel instead.
If you speak german there is a good thread about it on android-hilfe.de called [How-To] Motorola Defy+ overclocken.
Or install "BusyBox Free" From the Android Market, install the newest busybox (wait for smart install to load, then use it)
then reboot your phone, when the blue LED lights up press the volume down button, navigate to Processor or CPU or whatever its called in your menu, and activate "Load all modules" and set your alternate vsel values and cpu speeds there.
If that doesnt help you might want to use the search function, I suspect there are quite a few topics about this around here.
