Hi my X1 now run at 691,2 without any problems, excellent!

I've a few questions

How disable overclocking? I don't have setcpuspeed at /Windows/Startup there is only HTC Startup.lnk. My ROM is genesis.one 1.5 PLK 23568. Now if I want run X1 at stock speed I've to put out SD Card...

When you guys changing parameters in HKLM/Software/Msm7kcpuspeed you always do it without SD card? I mean when I want to change speed I've always twice reset device?

And last question is about Android, when you run overclocked X1 can you run Android? Or you have first reboot device and run at stock speed?

Thx for answers

Unfortunately this program doesnt work for me. It always crashes and then it is very hard for me to get the crash away. I have to be quick at startup en delete the link on startup map in windows directory.

Can someone help me with this?

What i do is:
1- I install Netrippers Msm7kCpuSpeed V.2 App. in my device
2- Install oruam57s SetCpuSpeed v1.0d on my SD card and leave al the default settings which I get when installing oruam57s.
3- I take out the sd card and set registry settings to:
BootTime = 90000
CheckTime = 20
Command = 0
PerfomanceLevel = 35
ScreenOffPerfomanceLevel = 27
SettlingTime = 10
4- Close the registry settings, insert SD card and soft reset.

When my phone start WM again, it crashes after a minute.

I run dutch WindowsMobile 6.1 vodafone stock rom.

M.Ozturk, I think you should check this out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=887469

This is the only thing you need to overclock your Xperia. It allows you to set performance level just as Msm7kCpuSpeed & SetCpuSpeed.
By the way, if your phone freezes after a minute it's a sign that your phone can't handle such a speed. With WinMoSpeed you should start with perf level = ~32 and test if it's stable (you can use some benchmarking tool like SKTools).

If the tasks are done quicker, it can go into idle / low power state faster. In the end it shouldn't matter too much, except if you do die hard tasks all the time.

kinda like if you do 120 miles an hour in a car... You get to your destination faster so you use less petrol right? lol

You post that dribble to defend yourself? You obviously don't get the point, go back to school and learn how energy works/transferred. My analogy is sound, Time taken vs energy used to do a task is not as clear cut as you make it out to be.
