Overheating Approximate fix + battery improved + (sudden shutdown&restart)**UPDATED**

Okay, so I tried it too and I have to say that I see no temp/battery life difference at all. It still boils like hell. I tried playing a 2d game for half an hour and while phone was plugged in the computer, after like 15 minutes of playing I got a message that the phone is using more power than receiving from pc (this never happened to me before). Anyway I'm just gonna let it settle for a few hours and I'll update my post if I'll notice any further changes. And just for the record I flashed it over OrDroid 2.2.0 w/out SuperCID. Fingers crossed

thanks alot for feed back plz could u check the battery life and temp. with trusted app like elixir or current widget from market and feed it back later ... waiting ..

i'm not beleave in you because you don't put the md5 of your package.. it's IMPORTANT!

thus.. your package has the same file as have the 3.12 in mike's from here

thus, i'll try to use mike's file, because i used it time ago

the situation is.. you CAN'T come in this forum, say something who all want, and put YOUR package without MD5, without information, with nothing!

as you could understand, i can think you are a lamer witch wants to brick our phones!!



ok.. change to mike's 3.12 firmware.. it's the same as your, changes only the cid list, and model ID, the other files is the same..

phone boots up.. i'm on Ordroid 2.2.0 with fix.. it's booted up normally, and, i don't see any difference.. mA is the same.. temperature is the same..

in stock boot i had 39° with about 19 ambiental.. now i'm trying to force cores runs at max frequency with stability test app.. and.. now i have 46-47°C when typically is at 55°.. phone is little warm.. i use my cheek to hear the huge temperature..

it seems have lower warm effect..

congratulation...

could i open a new thread in developing room with my experience of your knowledge? i'll say you'll find this, sure

this is not a game, this method could brick your phone.. it means you will be able to use it for crash test

no-one post a firmware package without md5, it's IMPORTANT..

Ok, I have cleaned the thread a bit and I will allow this to stay for now, although I will move it to general as it is not dev. Furthermore some proof has been provided that this flashes
Some observations:
1)You should have contacted me to discuss this rather than making a second thread. This is considered as failure to cooperate with a mod..
2)You should have provided proof to begin with as since you have no previous firmware threads you should have known that people would have questioned your solution.
3)you should have given better answers than "try and see if it works" to people raisisng conecerns.

So from now on please cooperate more with moderators and dont just open a new thread regardless of their judgement...

I haven't noticed much difference to be honest, but the change of radio can have a fair effect on battery life in itself. I will keep it on the phone for the time being and see what happens.

thanks for feedback plzzzzzzz vote for me to open back the 1st thread....

i said that becoz they where joking if u see my threads last 3 days ago it's all was about the battery calibration thing i use to think it's a battery or sim card issue but today i was thinking the right was when i thing it's a firmware issue and with some reads in the form i come to this result that is something deserve to be thread after i saw my phone back to normal temp. with a normal pattery drain & i didn't say the firmware have repaire somthing in batt. temp. but it fix the 3.32 issue cozing overheat and that 1 make's the battery drain less power which makes it's life longer " back to normal" coz with more cpu usage issue by fw =overheating = more battery drain = battery gose under voltage till 3.5v or less that result random restarts and random shut down and makes system unstable and let other things that there phone have a hardware issue or somthing since it's software thing u should come up with solution .... thanks allot every 1 i hope this would make my solve clear to u

there is nothing placebo mate the truth is confirmed by many ....
and if u saw the poll that u vote in it fix's 5 things not 1 i was have them all before flashing this fw
2nd when u post stuff like that u should come up with a proof how it was before and what is it now temp, sudden restart... etc...!!!!

it dz work with same ordroid rom kernal i wrote that on the thread it works and tested with ordroid roms only plzzzz dont try it on other roms
if u do that do it on ur own risk ....

just flash this fw from boodloader from sd card and u don't have to wipe any thing

EDIT: FILES ARE THE SAME!! IT CHANGES ONLY THE TXT FILE, OTHER ARE THE SAME! if you don't beleave, use a tool witch create md5 file, unzip the 2 packages, and try file one by one.. md5 are the same, exept for the android-info.txt, it contain the avaible cid..

so.. i'll try with original mike's firmware.. thus i already use it 3 month ago.. ;-)

I just wanted to let you all know that this is not safe! This is a fw and it is almost the most important thing on this phone! I've already seen noobs flashing this things and then posts f**** thread to solve their bricked phones! So if you want to try it out nobody said you can't, I've only suggested to not do it... So shut up and don't make non sense
