So now mixing and matching firmware elements not only reduces overheating according to your claims (a claim that has been tested and disproved by a few different people doing thorough testing) but now, coincidentally right when your thread is starting to lose popularity and fall way down the list of threads, now your miracle cure it suddenly prevents random reboots? (Thus making the thread interesting again...)
I mean...seriously?
see the deffrence before and after flashing 3.12 Firmware in these two photos
And you are comparing the stability of OrDroid 2.0.8 with the stadbility of OrDroid 3.0.0 on 3.12 firmware when the ROM is designed for use with 3.32 firmware, and claiming that the partial firmware swap you did is the reason for less restart volatility? All without making it clear in the original post that you're comparing the random restarts of two different versions of the ROM?
In the first post you make it sound like you've done an honest comparison where the only variable is the firmware, where the phone reboots a lot on 3.32 firmware but not on 3.12 firmware.
But buried on page 5 of the thread you say that you're comparing version 3 of the ROM against version 2 of the ROM, both on 3.12 firmware, making the ROM the variable.
Which test did you actually do? They aren't the same thing.
Plus you're running version 3 of OrDroid on the wrong firmware, and saying that it doesn't work. That's kind of badmouthing the OrDroid developers when its you who are trying to use the ROM with the wrong firmware.
To everyone else, if I'm missing something here please point it out. I don't want to be complaining about a post incorrectly. By all means show me where I've misunderstood this.
