I always dirty flash between FreedomOS CE (beta) and FreedomOS (stable) and never had problems.

Did anyone notice that the OOS 4.1.5 thread on official OP forums has disappeared?
Wonder what is the reason for that...

what does this mean? seems concerning.....

New additions:
• Added system push notifications for important information from OnePlus
They probably want to send you an ad when they announce op5. Well, maybe not. I guess it's ok for them to have the ability to send messages to users if they don't abuse it.

Whenever I download the full ROM and install it via TWRP,the flash ends up getting rid of TWRP after I reboot. Will installing Magisk in the same session prevent this from happening? If not,can someone please explain how I can prevent the flash from reverting my TWRP recovery to stock recovery?

I am on OOS 4.1.3 . rooted with twrp (3.0.3.0) . I downloaded the full zip. TWRP > standard wipe (data, dalvik, cache) . flashed full zip+ super su. reboot to TWRP. then reboot system. This is what I was doing for many updates. infact have done dirty flashes too before. but this time on reboot after flash but the phone is stuck at the booting screen. (red dot and white dots around it) at one point the dots stop moving.
what are the options now ?

edit------------
apparently it was the supersu 2.79. flashed supersu 2.8.2 and it worked.

can confirm,
had the exact same issue. I was lazy and thought to update supersu thru the app later, but ran also in this problem. flashing the latest stable 2.8.2 instead fixed the issue.

Yes, you have to mount system partition in TWRP after flashing OxygenOS to be able to flash magisk and maintain the recovery

Official Firmware& Modem are incorporated in Oxygen/Hydrogen roms. When you flash the rom, it flashes official recovery over yours.
Only in the last Oos (ob17 & 4.1.5) it did not hapend for me. I clean flash the rom & the recovery stays.
I use eng-stk, twrp-3.1.1 x v.33 blu spark, on ob17
I use eng-stk, twrp-3.1.1 x v.35 blu spark, on 4.1.5

Yeah no problem here either. Updated twrp before flashing full official and twrp was still there.
