It literally says in the release notes on the first post they that will not work.........

"This OTA will have a staggered rollout, the OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs, so using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout Is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices."

You can use oxygen downloader app from the store instead.

Try Clearing Data of Settings in Apps in Settings menu,
I did and I got update notification today.
Just you can try.

I found this link to download the OxygenOS 5.0.4 Full ROM for OnePlus 3T.

I have not tested it yet .... so be careful.

if you flash the zip from oneplus you need to flash twrp aigain and magisk after it...

Just keep in mind you have to be careful with call reccording and you have to know the laws for you as well as the person you are calling, other wise you can get into lots of trouble.

Need advice.

I'm on 5.0.3 with TWRP (blu_stark) + Magisk.

1) What steps should I follow to upgrade and keep same setup?
2) Can I do dirty upgrade (wipe cache + dalvik -> flash OOS -> reboot to recovery to prevent overwrite -> flash magisk -> reboot to system)
3) Is there a way to direct upgrade instead of full rom flash ?
