OxygenOS Open Beta 16 for the OnePlus 3

"Hello everyone,

This new update includes optimizations and bug fixes with a new way to report any new crashes and bugs you find.

Release notes and descriptions for this Open Beta build:
Enabled Bug report feedback app (User Feedback)
Fixed duplicate Contacts after upgrading
Fixed Contacts search function bug
Fixed alarm clock occasionally not ringing
Fixed certain app crashes
Fixed some display issues with Dark and Light themes
Optimized power consumption
General bug fixes
You may have noticed this little app before, as it’s been in the last few builds, but most of you probably have not used it. I’d like to introduce it. This is the next step in helping us better gather bug reports and feedback from all users. It’s set up right now to gather bug reports and logs for each crash or error you report. Just open up the “User Feedback” app near the bottom of your app list.

Then just click on what happened, like in the picture below.

Please give us as detailed of a description as possible. (Just like when you submit for the bug report forums)

Then just click the upload button and it goes directly to our Testers and Quality Control team. Very simple, very easy.
Please feel free to continue placing bug reports in the bug report forums too, this is just an additional way for you to give feedback on the go.

Please note:
If you have already flashed an Open Beta (you are currently running the latest Open Beta) you will receive this new build as an OTA.
If you ARE NOT running open beta software and would like to, please refer to the flashing instructions and the full ROM found in the downloads page here: http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3/oneplus_3_oxygenos_openbeta_16/
Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will NO LONGER receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (FULL WIPE of all data and cache)

I'd suggest waiting a few hours to update because the link was taken down from OP on official thread as they want to fix something.
Early feadbacks speak about issues with fonts on lockscreen, access to internal storage and other minor things.

Edit: it looks like they are not fixing anything, just re-uploading.

Nope. Actually the url has changed which means they choosed an earlier build to put it out to the public.

They uploaded a different build.

The first uploaded file on their download page showed Open17 in about phone and was named:
...OTA_025_all_170512...
It got pulled and replaced with ...OTA_024_all_170513...
So the first build was in fact a newer build.

I flashed OTA_25 and it completely changed all system fonts (bold/thin)...
Reflashing OTA_24 fixed it. So far no additional issues.

For your information, the previous Beta15 was named ...OTA_23_all...

i think the new link and new update solved the problem. i too had SD card problem

And what is the different ?

I had at least these bugs on the 025 version:
* A lot of apps force closed as soon as opening them (even such basic apps as phone and messaging)
* when you had ambient display on and received a notification nothing happened when touching the display until you pressed the power button
* and the sd card problem

I really recommend using the 024 instead, no issues for me and there is a Gdrive somewhere in the OB16 thread on the Oneplus forums

I am on 025 has you can see. I don't have any of those problems. I don't use ambient display. SD card it's OK.
I'm not an expert. I can't tell you much. I think 025 was release by mistake.
And i allways clean flash.

I'm in open beta15 ,rooted, with twrp , Accidentally downloaded open beta 16 update via system Updater , where will I find the downloaded file?
