OxygenOS Open Beta 16 for the OnePlus 3

I'm in open beta15 ,rooted, with twrp , Accidentally downloaded open beta 16 update via system Updater , where will I find the downloaded file?

/sdcard/.Ota
(respectively /storage/emulated/0/.Ota)

The folder is hidden.

Are you guys facing similar? I finally switched he'd to moderate accuracy under location settings which turns of gps.

Stable updates are meant to come every 1 or 2 months, so you're gonna have to be patient.
Betas are released twice a month so you can have 4 betas before a stable release

You have some serious wakelocks, check out your awake versus screen on. You'll need to find out what's keeping your phone awake and using GPS.

it seems to be a ob16 issue. android system is keeping it always on because of GPS being on.
OP forums are full of this issue on ob16

You should try and stick with HydrogenOS beta 13. It's rock stable and 7/8 hours SOT! It's really great!

I'm on Open Beta 16 and not facing any issues but saw some guys mentioning Ambient Display and custom location for some widgets or something.

Check my screenshot zero wakelocks faced on the beta, you have to find the app that's causing drain or you'll keep having issues

Yup.. but I can't find it. BBS didn't report any partial wakelocks.
Running usual apps .. the culrpit seems to be google play services OR Android system

Also don't have any wakelocks or battery drain on OB16... I'm dirty flashing since OB13 IIRC.

Try to disable (automatic) night mode, I read it's related go gps battery drain in OB16

I have battery issues as well, my android system is using a lot of cpu, and the phone feels hot in my hand sometimes.

Im using the exact same apps in the latest betas, so the culprit is ob16.

I hope they fix soon.

For Android system drain, it's the automatic night mode. My gps was on all the time with automatic night mode. I switched it off and it's back to normal. And I also have heating issues with new beta.
