1st boot takes more than 10 min

Edit: I didn't lost my internal data.

I guess the corruption of data happens only if the Bootloader is unlocked and the device is encrypted, like in my case.

Anyway build runs fine and without any issues so far. Even Xposed with GravityBox works.

And Netflix shows incompatible.

/data will be formatted as f2fs upon flashing. If you were on ext-4 (like I was) on previous ROM, you will lose everything including internal storage

i have been having this issue on many custom ROMs on Many Devices..
Clearing Data and Cache seems to work

Tried but this doesn't work with this rom.
This Bug has already been reported.

I had the same issue. Install magisk 18.1 and hide play store and Google service framework. Force stop and clear data of these two and reboot. Netflix will show compatible now.

Just to clarify the procedure on installing this. Wipe data, system, cache then install via twrp, flash magisk then factory reset before rebooting?

Edit . Nevermind fixed it by going outside. Now gps works again

Had 2 major issues today.

1. Bluetooth was very unreliable in my car. It would connect, disconnect, then connect again in a loop. A reboot fixed it but then after a while it happened again.

2. Mobile Data was gone after I left my house. A reboot didn't fix it. A couple of hours later I did a reboot again and then the mobile data would work again.

3. GPS failed on me in the middle of driving. For half the way it worked fine and then suddenly it failed to locate GPS.


I never had those issues on the Oreo build I was using before except once GPS failed on me too.
Gonna try a custom ROM and see if those issues are gone.

I agree gps isn't very stable. Also had an issue with maps and tinder earlier.

About your first point i had similar issues. Actually i was using android auto. Suddenly the music stopped and my phone got hanged and with yellow notification light on. I had to restart the phone again. It happened 3 times within 5 minute but after i got no issues. No issues about data or gps

I was really glad that there were no issues the first day I was using it but then on the second day they started to appear for me. I am now testing the Skydragon ROM. Heard really good things about it. So far the performance is really better than on OOS Pie. When it comes to bugs it remains to be seen.

For me problem started when i was returning home from work.
I too like custom roms. I tried skydragon its really very smooth and battery friendly. But the problem is android auto which suddenly getting freeze had to reconnect the usb. Except oos and sultan rom freezing issue it is present in all the roms. So im stuck here with oos.

I'm gonna try Android Auto tomorrow with the Skydragon ROM. I hope it will play nice with my Cars Radio.
