I was on RR 9.0 and already had TWRP.
I did the following steps.
1. Format whole data in TWRP.
2. Copied ROM.zip and magisk8.1.zip
3. Wipe art, cache, system, data and then factory reset.
4. Flashed ROM.
5. Flashed Magisk.
6. Factory Reset
7. Reboot.

I'm stuck in a bootloop since half an hour. It's not my daily driver so I don't have any data to lose.
Please advise.

I would advise you to simply install it using stock recovery. You can flash stock OOS 5.0.8, and stock recovery. Then just perform local upgrade from software update options or flash the zip using stock recovery. Let it run and then you can easily flash TWRP using fastboot flash recovery recovery.img method.

Does this build enable Treble or is the only way still via unofficial methods?
Nopes, OP doesn't bother with enabling treble on this 2 generations old device. There is no need to honestly. Pie is the last update we will receive and at this point, i don't think OP would be willing to do anything "experimental" with this device.

Stable for me, no bug detected.
Was on Havoc, with official TWRP.
Anyone can follow these step :

1 - Go to bootloader
2 - Flash TWRP (link in first post, not the official one)
3 - Reboot TWRP
4 - Full wipe (i don't have personal media on my OP3 so i even format data, i advise to do the same)
5 - Flash ROM
6 - Reboot TWRP
7 - Factory reset (In wipe, default option)
8 - Boot

My first boot took only 5 to 10 minutes, no error during initial setup.
All my apps are smooth and functionnal.

OOS got dark theme, some lack in traduction but still ok, nice setting pannel reworked with OOS theme... All the OOS features you like ! In resume, a pretty good leak.

We won't get any update i think, unless they go from closed to open beta.
(Someone mention IMEI registration for OTA update)

Reboot to twrp mount system delete some app duo for example system/app folder. Then try rebooting

I have flashed this rom numerous times from twrp with no data loss. Currently switching between it and sultanxda nougat. No need to factory reset. After flashing from twrp reboot recovery. Then force power off when the led is on by holding power button. Boot recovery. Flash magisk. If you have loop go back to twrp mount system and delete a unwa Ted app from system app folder. Setup secure boot so you will have a pin for data in restoring backups. Make a full backup of the rom. You will get a error when restoring but just dirty flash the rom on top of your restored backup and your good to go.

Really impressed with the stability and the battery life (after tweaking the kernel in Kernel Adiutor) no wish to get back to any other Pie ROM anymore.

Tried this out, really impressed with the battery. Seems pretty smooth and quick to me, that might be because of the F2FS though. Everything seems to work for me. Probably won't go to any other pie rom until Q comes out for the device.

But the network drain is too high which is draining battery like anything....

Not on my side. Battery can stand a whole day, even sometime a day and a half. No lockscreen background, Niagara launcher with no background, no social network app, use dark theme everywhere i can.
