No need, flash the ROM by megaxp's instructions then copy this (unzip first) to /system (r-w-r-r permissions)
Or decompress the ROM file. add it and recompress it.

If you or anyone wants to change the model in about phone from G8141 to G8142 or vice versa, theres a couple of lines to modify. In photo one, the first circled part will change the build number (in this case I changed out the 47.blah for M-ROM.....).
The second two circled parts change the model from G8141 to G8142, or 42 to 41.

The second photo only applies if you are using a G8142 build.prop editing to G8141. Applying the hash at the beginning of these 2 lines will cause signal/data for single sim devices to load faster after booting.

I followed your instructions karrouma for the ROM installation, set everything up (apps/most settings) then realised the front cam didnt work. Then I flashed the fix zip. I have G8141 but its only a camera and it is a G8142 ROM after all so that isnt the issue.
When in the flashing/setup process are you guys installing it?

need a clean installation.
If you are going to install the normal ROM without modification, the ideal is to boot the rom, start configuration and then restart to enter recovery and install the patch XPie_1.3fix.zip.
if you install the modified version that was uploaded, the fix is already applied along with the camera improvements of m-rom.
Installed v1.3 from machaw booting till zperia appear
