P20 Pro 9.0 update? (Canada)

The lack of GPU turbo 3.0 is quite disappointing indeed. Especially when the Huawei Canada website specifically mentions it as a major feature.
But guess it ain't for us.

Can anyone Confirm this because in the update it says gpu turbo 3.0

I have an unlocked CLT-L04 in the US on T-Mobile and just got the OTA. I'd checked earlier this morning and it wasn't there. In the release info it states that it includes GPU Turbo. Once it installs, I'll check.

Update: Does not say "GPU Turbo 3.0" under Build number

no there is gpu turbo 3.0 I talked with Huawei Canada support "all Canadian models of p20 pro will get gpu turbo 3.0."

OTA available for bell

OTA now available for Bell. Just go to settings and hit update. Downloading right now. Change log says it will have GPU Turbo 3. Fingers crossed . OTA size is 4.35 gb

Just checked mine on the Bell network and still nothing. Hopefully something comes down the pipeline soon.

It does not say GPU Turbo in build number. We still have app assistant.

You won't see app assistant in default launcher. Install Nova launcher and see in app drawer, you will find it there

Currently running 9.0.0.283, May 05 security patch on Bell network, last OTA I received. Still no 9.1 OTA and HiSuite says I'm running latest official version when checking for update. Hope things get sorted out soon.

From what I could gather browsing through system and cust folders. L-04, L-09,L-29 updates are almost all identical as far as system and kernel goes. I would say we have GPU Turbo, some punk just forgot to add the line as you can see in my attachment.

Interesting. I cannot get that specific build to approve on my device. I am using the same device as yours
