Sleep of death, overheating

For those who have problems with SoD or overheating!

I would recommend to upgrade to the rom on which this is based.
In the latest release from 12/18 mostly works everything! Only a camera bug is still there, but there is a fix also for people who need it.(clean flash 12/05, reboot, than dirty flash latest release on top and the camera works)

The rom works nearly perfect with good battery runtimes, no SoD issue and absolutely no overheating!

This rom is based on RaymanFX work for CM12, but only on the first release from 12/05!
AOSP rom are normaly allways in original section!
To get battery runtimes like me you only need Greenify from playstore. With it you can suspend all unused user-apps automaticly into sleepmode. For suspending system apps we need to wait untill Xposed Framework is working with Lollipop.
I have also deactivated some system apps like aosp-email and -calender, because I'm using gmail and google calender.
It is also necessary to use aosp browser instead of google chrome, because chrome needs twice battery capacity.
Display backlite at 20-30% is also a good way to increase battery runtimes!
That's all!
And I'm a heavy user and use it for browsing, email, vids and some other apps like 3C toolbox, taptu, g-notes and sketch for spen and my inbuild battery is not the best, as you can see on the screenshot below!(have only roundabout 7.000mA after 8 month)

Thanks mate, I also noticied huge battery drain with chrome and SODs, that's why I left CM12. I will try RaymanFX's ROM today. Thanks again.

HEY!! Shawn? Where are you? We miss you man...

Dont let that talk about CM12 lollipop get you down...look, we all have to start somewhere, right? =)
And you still have this amazing kitkat build that made our tablet amazing. Why dont you add some extras and add s pen functions?!
With a little more work,( stability and extras) your kitkat build would be the ultimate rom for this tablet!!! (Me talking of course...)

So.. i will be waiting for your next release, lollipop or kitkat!!!! Keep up, and THANKS!

Succesfully installed, but is it normal this isn't working?

First of all, thanks for all the effort put into this! Its working well so far but i think i found a small issue (or idk if it is normal)?

The short press menu button seems unfunctionnal.. Idk if i have done something wrong through the install but i cant get it to work. Ive went in the tablet options and i tried all of the different options and noone of them work.

Also, cant wake the device when put on sleep by pressing the home button?(i think that was answered or idrrmembrr if it was for another device)

Anyway, thats my experience so far with the ROM, i can live with it no problem and will use. It as a daily driver and will be waiting on any kind of updates

Anyone have problems with the device randomly turning off/ or staying in deep sleep? The only thing I can do is hold the power button on for about 10-15 seconds and then it will start back up again. Its like after the device locks it never will unlock again.

Temasek's UNOFFICIAL CM12 Works for 5.0.2 ...no issues with this one listed above, however camera doesn't work. Staying on the CM12 rom till this one is fixed.
