Hey there! A noob here with a few doubts. I'm looking to install this ROM and I'm wondering what the advantages are. I know it's debloated and rooted, but does it improve performance, battery, Screen On Time and things like that? I've read people have had trouble installing it and since I'm not that good at this I just want to be sure it's worth it before trying it. I did manage to flash the stock Nougat though. I'm on B378.

Anyone else have the problem that "OK Google" detection does not work from any screen, only the google app and even then intermittently?

Well I can definitely say I get around 7 hours more battery than on stock. I'm trying to decide whether keeping root is worth it or just go back, sorry dkionline, to stock - even though the stock is annoying in battery usage. 2 days I used to get, now lucky to get 21 hours on stock. Seems that phone calls whack the battery massively

It's not too hard to do this ROM, but the main part is getting the bootloader unlock from Huawei.

I have frozen some of the Huawei apps that run under the android system process - which eats the battery - thanks to having the root, but the phone goes nearly completely unusable

Simple, i removed all Google Apps, but it still drains cause of other issues, made by huawei itself. Some of them should be fixed in the next update, i'm not sure if B380 comes or another one, as they still not getting viewed on HiCloud.
I change more or less nothing, beside root and debloating in mOOnlight, as everyone can do what in its own mind. There are some background thinkgs like SuperSU or SoundMods that still make some trouble in our chat group. The bugs are thankfully not made by me, its Nougat itself, that needs more adjustments to be stable.
I talk more about that soon with my hopefully working 2nd Project here in development section.

Happy with this rom, no battery drain for me

I was having a massive battery drain after update from marshmallow to nougat stock through ota (hicare).

After Full wipe (system, data, internal storage, dalvik and cache) and flash this rom through TWRP, for me no battery drain at all.
Charging 3 times, I'm very very happy with battery life.
200 apps installed (no facebook, I change the official app with the alternative Folio pro to have minor battery consumption).
Set main memory location to external sd withot any issue.

I have to thank the developer for this fully debloated and clean rom.
Hope he supports this device for a long time.

Ahn ... until now I've tried to flash all possible sound mod.
No one works except for dolby atmos 6.5 (that's working well).

Having some issue with phh root on some apps like foldermount and few others cause they required chainfire supersu.

I came from stock and installed teh Moonlight Rom with TWRP 3.1 on my L09 EVA (Superuser phh)
Everything´s good so far. The only thing I recognize, that I can´t deinstall all system apps i want. For example, it´s not possible to deinstll the exchange app, or email, etc. Ohter Apps like Google Music, etc. is no problem to delete.
What´s the reason why I can´t deinstall all system apps I want?

Hey Guys,
Today i upgraded from MM to Nougat and flashed this ROM...so far everything works fine, but I have massive problems with push notifications...i receive push notifications just from whatsapp or email...from apps like flashscore (sports app) I dont get any notifications

Can someone help me?
Could a new flash of this rom help?

Edit: everytime I turn off WIFI and turn it on again, it works for a few Moments...and I receive all the messages I missed at once
The same happens with mobile internet

Is it possible to pack magisk with your next build? I'm currently running 7.0 stock with phh root but for some reason I can't install magisk unless I use custom phh root or superSU.

Good news for me ... having some problems with phh root compatibility with some apps and mods.
They require supersu root.

@lostunsunghero magisk still doesnt work, unless someone update it to huawei standards. @pheuzy first update to B182, then you can update to nougat, then unlock, twrp and then, you can flash this rom, but not before. @rippernet, i promise, it will be available before eastern, unless huawei releasing an update, so i would skip it and use the new one instead.
Changed another parts of script, so it should now give no errors while flashing the zip. Another part is to update apps.

To dload from MM to N doesnt work, you have to update through OTA from HiCare App, load the new from playstore (blue hand with heart)
Now stop here offposting, will only answer ROM related things from now on.
